Make an investigation of the first fossils that scientists found.

Make an album that includes images and information (NOT COPY AND PASTE) of each fossil (at least 10).

1. Iguanodon: Discovered in 1822, the Iguanodon is one of the earliest known dinosaurs. It was found in England and was a large, bipedal herbivore.

2. Ichthyosaur: Discovered in 1811, the Ichthyosaur is a marine reptile that lived during the Jurassic period. It was one of the first fossils found that showed
that life in the oceans was as diverse as on land.
3. Trilobite: Trilobites are fossil arthropods that lived during the Paleozoic. They were some of the first fossils to be discovered and showed that complex life
had existed on Earth for a long time.

4. Megalosaurus: Discovered in 1824, the Megalosaurus was one of the first dinosaurs to be scientifically described. It was a large carnivore and lived during
the Jurassic period.
5. Ammonite: Ammonites are extinct cephalopods that lived in the oceans during the Mesozoic era. They are often used as index fossils to date rocks and
geological formations.
6. Archaeopteryx: Discovered in 1861, the Archaeopteryx is an early bird that lived during the Jurassic period. It was a transitional fossil between reptiles and
birds and had both feathered wings and reptilian features.

7. Coelacanth: Coelacanths are a group of lobe-finned fish that were thought to have gone extinct over 66 million years ago. However, a living specimen was
discovered in 1938, making it one of the most exciting fossil discoveries of the 20th century.
8. Dunkleosteus: Dunkleosteus was a large, predatory fish that lived during the Devonian period. It had bony armor that covered most of its body, and its jaws

were powerful enough to crush shells and bone.
