Today's experiment was about measuring the resistance

of unknow resistor value by using two methods and
checking which one is better to use and calculating the
.error ratio
:Objective (Introduction))1
Resistance measurements are normally taken to indicate
the condition of a component or a circuit. The higher the
resistance, the lower the current flow. If abnormally
high, one possible cause (among many) could be
damaged conductors due to burning or corrosion, and
its important in some devises to know the resistance
because for a example a lot of cars problems is because
a resistor and not everyone knows about it so it’s a
.important thing to study

Methods)2
During this experiment, we measured the resistance in several
ways and measured the differences between the two methods
and measured the error rate between the two methods. The
first method we used was by using a meter with a connect in
parallel with the resistance and reading what appears on the
screen. The second method is by using the measurement via
Colors using a special table that explains the value of each line
(color) and using a specific law in which the resistance is
calculated. We compared the two values and found a very small
percentage of error, which is evidence of accuracy in the work.

:DISCUSSION)4
We measured the resistance of different components in
the circuit and found that it remained constant for a given
component. This indicates that the resistance of a
conductor is independent of the voltage and current
.passing through it

:Conclusion )5
As a conclusion, the resistor color code was very useful in
determining the value of individual resistor, The represented
data in the table indicate that all the resistor selected were
within the tolerance range specified by the color code. The
value of resistor from digital multi meter got matched by the
.manual calculation using color code

We obtained external information by using a
special table that was obtained during the lecture
and can be obtained via the Internet and was used
during the experiment in order to find the value of
the resistance.
