Harp Harmonics - Chords By Emil Ernebro

When you play the "harp harmonics"-technique, you will notice that the most effective way to get great sounds,
is by using chords that has at least 4 notes. For instance, if you use a regular major triad bar chord, some notes
will repeat in the same octave, wich will sound boring after a while. If you use a four note chord, like Fmaj7
instead of F major, you'll hear that you get a nice melody playing the harp harmonic technique. In the first
example, we have the most important voicings for a major sounding chord. All those chords will work over
any kind of major sound, (except dominant 7th sounds) like F major, Fmaj7, F6/9, Fmaj9, Fmaj13, F6 and
so forth. Keep in mind that you can always use the relative minor or major. For instance, if you want to play
a nice sounding E minor chord, try its relative major chord, wich is Gmaj7. Gmaj7 voicings will sound great
over a E minor chord. This is a great tool, and remember that you can think of it the other way around too,
(for instance E minor voicings over a Gmaj7 sound.)
