Crystal Farming Guide (for ensekai)

See “Glossary and Guides” on page 3 for an explanation of terms + disclaimers
If you see anything inaccurate or out of date please dm me!! I can only remember so much specific information about
all this so I know there may be some mistakes in here!

Early game:
Master Rank 5 all 1☆ cards
Skill Level 4 all 1☆ cards
Read all 1☆ cards first side story =650 total
Read all 1☆ cards second side story =1,300 total
Go to each Welcome Virtual Show =300 each
Master Rank 5 all 2☆ cards
Skill Level 4 all 2☆ cards
Read all 2☆ cards first side story =750 total
Read all 2☆ cards second side story =1500 total
Read all area conversations =500+
Read all unit main stories =6,000 total
Complete Normal missions =50 each
Complete Debut Missions =3,000 total

Early game Character Ranks: mastering and skill leveling low rarity cards, plus reading area
conversations should get you at least up to 5 for each character, for a total of 500 each, so for
26 characters at CR 5 you can get 13,000 crystals.

Later Game:
This is where things are going to get more expensive. This is for after you’ve exhausted a lot of
other avenues of free crystals, and after you’ve done a lot of playing and pulling. This is more of
a routine than a checklist.

➢ Go to each Event After Show =300 each

➢ Get crystals from the event shop =500 each
➢ Read the event stories =400 each
➢ Log in every day for 300 crystals a week
➢ Full combo as many songs as possible - 50 per Hard, 70 per Expert, 70 per Master,
plus 110 per S Rank
➢ Continue the SL/MR routine for 2☆ event cards
➢ Read all cards’ first side story =25 each
➢ Read all cards’ second side story =50 each

➢ Do Challenge Shows every day =20 per Show completed, 50 per stage cleared + can
choose 100 crystals as a reward at the end of each week, also can add to
Character Rank missions
➢ Try to at least play somewhat in every event to get the free crystal reward (starting at
250 per t100k) Playing consistently will also go towards your monthly Show Missions
which gives crystal rewards (up to 500 per month for f2p). It also goes towards your
Player Rank, and milestone intervals (such as rank 10, 20, 30, 40, etc) of your rank-ups
will give 550 crystals. Currently, Player Rank is capped at rank 300.
➢ Rob Challenge Shows (after you get any character to around 180k Talent in
Challenge Show, that should be enough to get ~1m score), you can also do
characters’ Challenge Shows if you’re desperate for crystals at any point because you
get rewards starting at 100k score as well as 50 per time you increase the character’s
stage. To get the highest score possible it’s recommended to play high scoring songs,
generally Hitorinbo Envy on Expert or Master is enough, but you could also play Viva
Happy, Bless Your Breath, or Jackpot Sad Girl on Master, just remember your score
depends on your accuracy so choose a song that you can easily full combo. =3,400 per
maxed character
➢ Upgrade Character Ranks strategically. If you’re low on materials to read side
stories/MR/SL/etc, but you need crystals, look at the Character Ranks and see if there is
anyone close to 10, 15, or 20, etc., as those rank-ups give 300 crystals
➢ Upgrade everyone’s Trust Rank to level 2. Trust Rank rewards give out 50 crystals for
ranks 2, 12, 22, etc. but rank 2 is the easiest and quickest to get to if you’re grinding for
crystals. There are currently 112 possible Trust combinations in the game as of October
2022, which would give you 5,600 total crystals to get each combination at rank 2.
Other rewards for Trust Ranks offer wish pieces which may be helpful for other farming
tasks.

Glossary and Guides:

These are some words people use when describing crystal farming, some people will still use
jpsekai terms so I included them as well. If you need more detail, or have other questions about
how the game works, Ciry made a really great guide here! (link goes to a separate google doc)

Wish Pieces/Wish Jewels (aka kakera): You can get these from either the Virtual Show
method (explained in the disclaimer above, as well as in the Virtual Coins section of this
glossary), or by getting duplicate cards in the gacha. Dupe 2☆s will give you 5 Wish Pieces,
3☆s will give you 50, and 4☆s will give you Wish
Jewels. Although this guide encourages you to spend a
lot of Wish Pieces, please know that if you’re not doing
much gacha, you should be careful about where you
spend them, especially if you’re planning on tiering an
event because they can be very useful for tiering. Wish
Jewels are especially rare, so save them for your
favorite cards, or for an event you’re tiering.

Challenge Show (aka Challenge Live/CL): You can find this under Show > Challenge Show.
This is a daily challenge show you can play to get special rewards. You can only play it once per
day (daily reset is 4:00AM PST). Every time you play, you earn a certain amount of exp based
on your score, and the character’s Stage will increase. When the Stage increases, it will give
one point towards CR as well.

Virtual Show (aka Virtual Live/vlive): You can find this under Show > Virtual Show. These are
like 3D concerts where the characters will play a song after an event, or to celebrate a birthday
or a holiday. Viewing an event After Show will give you a special sticker for attending, as well as
300 crystals.

Virtual Item: these are items that you can buy during a Virtual Show. Click the present/gift icon
on the bottom of the screen to see which items are available.

Virtual Coins: items that can be used to get Fan Pts in Virtual Shows. You
can get these from logging in every day, buying them in the event exchange,
or from log-in campaigns. Using these for a certain group will also go
towards Fan titles for that group, so make sure to use them during a group’s
Virtual Show that you care about, or wait to use them until the
half-anniversary event (every group’s leader is there, so it goes towards all
groups’ titles). When you spend Virtual Coins during a Virtual Show you will
also get Wish Pieces in return, at a ratio of 1 Wish Piece per 100 Fan Pts.

Character Rank (aka CR): you can find this under Characters > Character Rank. Every
character has missions for you to do, and when you reach a certain amount of missions
completed, the CR for that character will increase and give you a reward such as 100 crystals,

300 crystals (for ranks 5, 10, 15, 20, and so on), or it will give you an extra Challenge Show slot,
a stamp, or a cover card. CR currently maxes out at Rank 50 for each character.

Mastery Rank (aka Master Rank/MR): you can find this under Characters > Training > Mastery
(third tab on the left side). Increasing MR increases your card’s Talent. Your card’s MR will be
shown in a diamond on the bottom ride side. The maximum MR is 5. For 1☆, 2☆, and 3☆
cards its okay to use Wish Pieces. For 4☆ cards, you’re going to want to use Wish Jewels.

Skill Up Scores:
These are most useful for increasing the skill level of
3☆ and 4☆ cards. For 1☆ and 2☆ cards, it’s okay to
just use Wish Pieces or beginner skill scores. It’s also
better to save advanced skill scores for 4☆ cards.

Gacha Stickers:
Each time you pull you will receive a Gacha Sticker associated with that gacha. You can see
how many Gacha Stickers you have by checking the top right of the gacha page. Each banner
has their own set of Gacha Stickers, and they won’t carry over into the next event (the exception
being “Event Character Boosted Rate Gachas” which share stickers with whatever the current
event banner is). To trade for a character from the gacha you need 300 Gacha Stickers.

Gacha Sticker Vouchers (aka gacha tickets):

These are items that you can use to reduce the amount of Gacha
Stickers needed to buy a character from the gacha. Each Gacha
Sticker Voucher can be bought in the Gacha Sticker Exchange with
10 Gacha Stickers. You can only use 10 at a time. There are also
limited Gacha Sticker Vouchers which are pink and work the same
way, except they are for limited banners.

Other things to keep in mind:

When it’s finally time to spend:

** Sparking (buying a 4☆ using gacha stickers) takes 90,000 crystals (300 pulls). Since Gacha
tickets have been released, you can use up to 10 gacha tickets to spark at only 60,000 crystals
(200 pulls).

** When pulling gacha it’s better to save up 3,000 crystals for a 10 pull, because you will get a
guaranteed 3☆. This means even if you get no 4☆, you’ll still get either a 3☆ card you don’t
have yet, or a dupe card that will give you 50 wish pieces.

**For information about future events and gacha banners, you can go here (link goes to a
separate google doc) for a list of banners made by ratboizs.

Disclaimers:
➢ In order to farm for crystals in this way you will have to do some gacha pulls in order to
get Wish Pieces. If you take saving very seriously and don’t plan on doing gacha pulls at
all, then you will have to get Wish Pieces by using Virtual Coins to send items in Virtual
Shows (for each item, you will receive an equivalent amount of “Fan Pts” that will be
converted into Wish Pieces at a rate of 1 wish piece per 100 fan pts). You can buy Virtual
Coins in the event shop.
➢ This guide is based entirely on what you think is valuable. You don’t have to use all of
your Wish Pieces or Skill Up Scores at once, or use them on characters you don’t care
about. Basically, this guide is just to show what the maximum f2p crystal gain can be,
and to show options for farming crystals when you need them in a pinch.
○ Because this guide is entirely dependent on what you’re willing to do to/how often
you will farm, I can’t offer a complete guide on monthly resources for f2p players.
I recommend making a copy of this document and figuring out what you can do
each month to see what your average monthly income is!
