GMA340 - Audio Panel + Marker (Garmin Marker Audio)

GTN650 – COMM/NAV/GPS (Garmin Touchscreen Navigation)
 Provides VOR/LOC/GS navigation information to G500
 Provides GPS navigation to G500
 Serves as dual (active+monitor) radio station

Componets of G500 system
The G500 is Avionics Suite composed with several line-
replaceable units (LRU). A line-replaceable unit is a box
of electronics, such as a radio or other auxiliary
equipment for a complex avionics system for an airplane.
The name derives from the fact that the unit is replaced
at the flight line.
LRUs speed up repair, because they can be stocked and
replaced quickly from inventory, restoring the aircraft to
service. They also reduce the cost of systems, and
increase the quality, by spreading development costs of
the type of unit over different models of aircrafts

 Main computer of G500 system
 Main display of G500 system (VSI,ASI,Altimeter,Attitude,HSI…)
 Display of moving map and navigation information

 Performs aerometrical measurements.
 Provides information to GDU620:
 Rate of climb
 Altitude
 Airspeed
 Wind vectors

 Directly connected to GDC74
 GDC can perform all the calculations thanks to GTP

 Senses aircraft position in space
 Senses angular velocities
 Calculates aircraft heading
