Barbie Pink Baseline Diagnostic

Absolutely, Marco. The supply chain was not ready to meet the demand for pink paint, according

to the story. The lack of pink paint is mostly attributable to the production and distribution of the Barbie

movie. Since Warner Bros. used so much pink paint to replicate Barbie Land, it has caused a global

shortage of pink paint. Barbie is unique in the world because of her use of pink, and without pink, how

would we recognize her? Since the movie was made, there has been such a strong desire for pink that

many individuals are now attempting to imitate Barbie or even attempting to acquire a plastic Barbie

doll. Throughout the length that the movie has been in theaters, the real world has appeared to be

Barbieland. How may this global shortage happen? The issue was that the COVID-19 epidemic, which

overall also had an impact on the global supply chain, left the company Rosco which produced the

unique Barbie shade of pink with a shortage of that shade of pink. Additionally, Texas experienced a

deep winter in 2021 that harmed the materials used to create the tint of pink. To sum up, it's highly

challenging for manufacturers to purchase paint in large quantities due to all the paint used in producing

the Barbie movie, and the market is having a hard time keeping up with the "pink fever" fashion.
