wisely. Consequences:

 Students will be warned after the first offense, if repeated twice more, a written report will be handed
to the office.
 Behavior grade decreased.
 Severe and/or consistent faults will receive an Office Referral and U for behavior grade.
 Student’s Handbook regulations will apply regarding uniform and behavior.
 If rules are complied and followed students may obtain an E in behavior

grade. Consequences:

 Consequences for poor behavior are consistent with Interamericano Student Handbook Policies.
Please refer to the Handbook.
 Severe and /or consistent faults will receive an office referral and U for behavior grade.

Plagiarism, Cheating, and Academic Integrity

Plagiarism is the practice of copying words, sentences, images, or ideas for use in written or oral assessments
without giving proper credit to the source. Cheating is defined as the giving or receiving of illegal help on anything
that has been determined by the teacher to be an individual effort. Both are considered serious offenses and
have the consequence of a zero on the assignment with a 1 day in school suspension in the high school office.
Additional offenses will be dealt with by the office.

Methodology

A combination of lecture, class discussion, cooperative learning, and problem-based learning will be used in this
course. Grades will be determined by the satisfactory and timely completion of assignments. The grade of each
assignment is based on the prerequisite given for each assignment.
