Temporary Suspension of Broadcasts

Due to Changes in Satellite Frequencies

June 22, 2023

NHK WORLD-JAPAN's international broadcast will be


suspended shortly over three days, following an update in
broadcast frequencies of satellites providing the service.
The changes will occur at 2:35 am (UTC) on July 25, Aug 1 and 8
in regions covered by Intelsat 21, 20 and 19, respectively.
The changes will not affect NHK WORLD-JAPAN's live-
streaming service, available here.

Television sets receiving NHK WORLD-JAPAN's international


broadcast directly from Intelsat satellites will require the following
frequency setting adjustments:
