Post-Photography: using photography in an

altered state.

“Post-photography is a moment, not a

movement,”

REWORLD explores ideas around the

concept of possibility. The artworks present
events that could be possible, showing
multiple alternative possibilities, happening
at the same time, or the same event seen
happening from multiple viewpoints.
--------
Taking its cue from the now-historic
moment of postmodernism, the term ‘post-
photography’ is seemingly an adjunct to this
ending of classic modernist practices that
aimed for purity of method and form.

At the close of his text Baker observes that

photography has not come to an end, but
that it is entering a period where its
relationships have become more complex.

Is Kali Maa and Durga Maa same?
Yes, same. Par Brahman has two forms Purush and Prakriti. Prakriti further 3
major forms Mata Saraswati, Lakshmi and Shakti (Parvati). Goddess Uma
(Parvati/Sati) took birth as Goddess Sati and then as Goddess Parvati.
Goddess Parvati then slayed demon Durgamasur and got the name Durga.
Durga Mata has 9 forms, in that Kaalratri is 7th form. Kaalratri has further
more divisions. She manifested into Mahakali, Bhadrakaali, Dakshin Kaali.
Kaali Maa whom we know as the destroyer of Raktabij, Shumbh, Nishumbh,
Chanda and Munda etc., is Mahakaali. Kaali is Mahakaali basically. She is
the wife of Mahakaal (Lord Shiva). Now you might think that how many
wives Lord Shiva have because Durga Mata and Kaali Mata are his wives?
The answer is that he has only one wife i.e. Goddess Shakti who has different
names and forms. Her most common name is Parvati because he took birth as
Daughter of King Himavat (Himalaya is Parvat), so she got the name Parvati.
Her original form in which she resides at Kailash with Lord Shiva (also
known as Shankar, Rudra, Mahadev etc.).. is Gauri. Goddess Parvati got the
name Gauri because of her fair skin. So that's why Sati, Parvati, Uma, Gauri,
Kaali/Mahakaali/Bhadra Kaali/Chamunda/Chandika,
Durga/Bhavani/Jagdamba/Amba/Ambika/Mahishasur Mardini, Rudrani,
Shivani, Shiv Patni, Mahadevi, Sheetala, Maheshwari, Shailputri, Kaushiki,
Chandraghanta, Skandmata, Kushmanda, Ganesh Janani, Shakti/Adi
Shakti/Adi Para Shakti these all are same. Only forms/appearance are
different. So, Durga Mata and Kaali Mata are same. This is the reason why
people sometimes think that there are 33 crore Gods but the fact is that most
of the Gods and Goddesses are same. People get confuse because of different
forms of Gods and Goddesses. That's why they think that Durga Mata and
Kaali Mata are different, but they are not different. Sanatan Dharm is very
logical, we need understand it. I always try to go in deep. It's very difficult to
understand God, maybe I should say that it's Impossible to understand Par
Brahman completely. I hope my answer will help you. See the first and last
photo carefully. Compare them, see the hands of Durga Mata and Kaali Mata,
also see the weapons which are there in her hand. You will find that they are
same, only skin colour is different. Goddess Durga is fair skinned, while
Goddess Kaali is dark skinned.. Completely black but still they are same.

Hello! I'm Xochitl a.k.a xoo_chi, self-taught multi-medium artist and photographer from Mexico.
Since I can remember art is part of my life. My mom, an art lover, always took my older sister
and me to museums and exhibitions, and after school I went to drawing classes when I was in
elementary school.

At the age of 12 I took pictures for the first time with my mom's 35mm camera, a Canon AE1P.
It was amazing!! The sounds, the weight and shapes of the camera, the wait for developing and
printing the photos... Since then I knew that I wanted to dedicate my life not only to photography
but to art and its different expressions.

During my teens and 20's I drew and painted a lot, I fell in love with abstract and surreal art and
continued to explore techniques such as hand-made collage, experimental photography and
video, glitch art and datamosh, generative art, mapping, alternative photographic processes,
mixed media and painting as well.

Since August 2022 I have ventured into the world of web3 and NFT's to continue sharing my
love for creation as well as to connect with more like minded artists passionate about art and
community.

——

I feel mainly inspired by Mother nature, music, films, melancholy and nostalgia, wonders of life
and death, metaphysics, philosophy and my inner reality. I truly believe that it's in the small
details of everyday life that make all the difference in our experience as human beings.

Intuition plays a very important role in my creative journey. Most of the time I don't know what
the final piece will look like, there is something bigger and powerful that I allow to guide me
through the process.
Far from the final result, the process from start to finish of an artwork is what makes me fall in
love every time I start a new piece and motivates me to continue creating.

Because experimentation is the central axis of my art, I love to change and/or mix mediums to
channel different emotions and thoughts, I'm always eager to learn new ways to express my
feelings, ideas and struggles, but always with my unique signature.

The main goal with each of my pieces is to invite the viewer to enter an introspective state and
reach the inner dialogue that allows her/him to continue knowing ourselves at a deeper level
through contemplation and meditation.

Over the years my body of work includes digital & film photography, experimental video,
handmade collage, digital art (mainly glitch art), alternative photographic processes, mixed
media, and abstract painting as well.

"Thresholds of Perception"

"Between heaven and hell

there's just a step away..."

With every step we take, we navigate the fine line between joy and sorrow, good and evil. This
piece invites viewers to reflect on their own choices, highlighting how a shift in perspective can
reshape the understanding of our lives.

Through a harmonious fusion of liminal spaces, contrasts, and symbolic elements, the
minimalism prompts contemplation on life's delicate equilibrium and delves deeper into the
power of decision-making and the transformative nature of reality. It reminds us that every
choice we make carries the potential to lead us towards joy or despair. By shifting our viewpoint,
we can alter our understanding of the world, reshaping our own existence in the process.

As the viewer gazes upon the artwork, they're drawn into a captivating visual narrative. A broad
path, suspended between two contrasting realms, stretches across the piece. Depending on where
one stands and how they perceive the path, the outlook can drastically shift. This thought-
provoking exploration underscores the importance of cultivating a wider perspective and
embracing the ability to alter our perception.

"Thresholds of Perception" serves as a poignant reminder that our decisions hold immense
power, not only in shaping our own lives and experiences but also in influencing the world
around us. By embracing the constant evolving of our understanding and recognizing the delicate
interplay between "heaven and hell", we can navigate the thresholds of life with greater
awareness, mindfulness, and compassion.

First of all I want to congrats to the entire THEHUG team for this amazing project, when my
good friend Paulo a.k.a 82dazai told me about it I was very excited because I was going through
a "disappointment" from some elitist communities that exist in the world of NFT's.
When visiting the platform I loved both the design and the utilities and also that it's cross chain (I
really love this <3) and I immediately applied for a profile.
I want to sincerely thank the chance to share my inner feelings and messages with the whole
world, for me it's of huge importance and relevance to continue connecting with more creators
through new and evolved inclusive platforms like THEHUG. I really appreciate and celebrate
your hard work and intentions with this project, you have my full support. Thanks again! :))

Much love,

Daydreaming isn’t a waste of time, as we’re often told, but the
gateway to creativity, problem-solving and even to the
realisation of our potential.

Perception = Observation, not acceptance

Complex representation of my emotions

In, The Obstacle is the Way, author Ryan Holiday proposes we develop
the discipline of perception. He describes perception as “how we see
and understand what occurs around us – and what we decide those
events will mean.”

Be grown. Be masterful. Be open hearted. Be clear. Be abundant. Be happy.

Be vital. Be sexy af and know it. Be confident and humble. Be confidently
humble. Be authentic. Be real. Be in love with yourself. Be of service to your
community. Be generous. Be cosmic. Be grounded. Be incredible with your
hands. Be inspired. Be creative. Know your genius. All of that is with you.

"My main sources of inspiration are nature, everyday details, the unknown,
and mysteries of life that evoke a feeling of wonder, the small details in
everyday life and wonders of existence as energetic beings. The central focus of my
artistic work is the experience that unfolds from the beginning to the end of a
creation. To convey a range of emotions and thoughts, I enjoy experimenting
with different mediums. I'm always in search of new ways to express my
personal struggles, ideas, and feelings, while also incorporating my unique

Title: ""In the Flow"" PARTICLES NFT

"From the cracks and seams,

The light leaks in like a dream,
A burst of color and glow,
In the abstract painting's flow.

So let the light leaks guide you,

And inspire your every move,
For in the world of abstract art,
The light is the masterful groove."

This piece is a tribute to these techniques that have had the greatest impact on
me since the beginning of my creative journey and hold a special place in my
heart. It expresses my deep love for unique light leaks that only film
photography can provide and the freedom of expression in abstract painting.

This is a hard one hahah, but I would say my favorite artist is David Lynch:
his movies, music, paintings and his perspective to feel and embrace life
inspire me so much!! M.C Escher, Louise Bourgeois and Ai Weiwei are also
some of my lifelong inspirations! Some of my favorite photographers are
Brassaï, Francesca Woodman, Graciela Iturbide, Man Ray, Pierre Cordier,
Diane Arbus, Polina Washington and Ana Mendieta. And for painting some
of my favs are Van Gogh, Gerhard Richter, Jean Dubuffet, Alberto Burri,
Francis Bacon, Anselm Kiefer, Wols and Basquiat. I also feel very attracted
and inspired to the use of sacred geometry in Islamic architecture, it's simply
breathtaking and magnificent.

“The main goal with my art is to invite the viewer to enter a state of
contemplation and self-meditation to rediscover themselves.”

It's about chemistry and the endless possibilities of abstract art. From using
different types of tea, coffee, butter and oils, through different types of
alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, to more abrasive ingredients such as
cleaners, acids and fungi. For me destruction is creation, life itself is that.
Film photographs and chemigrams will be created using all kinds of liquids
and resistors to explore their reactions on film and BW/ color paper to
generate infinite landscapes of reflection and creation.

My favorite color is green. My favorite fruit is tangerine. I love insects and

hear the birds singing every morning and perceive the smell of trees and
flowers. Nature inspires me to create and I do believe that art can change the
world.

There are 3 key things that help keep me on track:

1. Setting Priorities
I know I’ll drift and spin my wheels guessing if I don’t
determine what my primary focus is for the season I’m in.
If you don’t have a north star to work toward, what direction are
you supposed to devote your energy toward?
2. Managing Time
I’ll drown if I don’t know what my availability looks like within
my finite bandwidth.
I constantly have to ask myself:
• What does my week look like?
• What time do I have available each day to focus on the
priority?
3. Scheduling
It’s important for me to know the most urgent tasks to execute
that move my biz forward.
This means executing my main projects, tasks, and deadlines
within my schedule.
Remedios naturales para el acné hormonal
Puedes elegir una de las siguientes alternativas:
Salvia: puedes realizar una infusión con 20 g de hojas y
utilizarla para lavar a diario tu rostro. Ayuda a limpiar

acné inflamatorio y no inflamatorio.

y etinilestradiol.

Estrostep Fe: contiene acetato de noretindrona, etinilestradiol y fumarato

ferroso.

Beyaz (también conocido como Levomefolato de drospirenona-

etinilestradiol): contiene drospirenona, etinilestradiol y levomefolato de calcio.

verano (también conocido como Drospirenona-Etinilestradiol): contiene

drospirenona y etinilestradiol.

In a world brimming with social problems, we often find solace in the emotional resonance of
art. We witness the incredible power of creating to inspire, heal, and transform.
"Encuentros" was born as a result of the inner retrospective of more than 15 years of my creative
journey from a social, psychological and metaphysical perspective of what it means to be an
artist in Latin America.
Going back to the origin of why I decided to dedicate my life to art made me confirm once again
how sick society has been for hundreds of years, a society corrupted by money and power and
how since the moment we are born it labels us, programs and trains to be "useful" (for them).
This programming (call it school, family and/or environment) from a very early age had many
repercussions on my mental health as I became a teenager. Depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety
and all between...

With "Encounters" I want to convey what happens when despite the external chaos we no longer
make part of our lives the programming that was unconsciously implanted in us since we can
remember. I wanted to visually culminate the consequence of the disidentification of patterns,
beliefs and behaviors acquired throughout our lifes to welcome emptyness as a beauitful
opportunity for recreate ourselves.

This piece represents the collective journey as Latin American artists who navigate traumas,
disorders and mental storms and transmute any struggle into art to empath and raising awareness
about the often-overlooked challenges faced by all of us.

Two types of encounters occur in the piece: the encounter with ourselves with the essence of
simply being, which goes beyond matter, logic, insecurities and fears; and navigate abstract and
subtle worlds full of knowledge.
At the same time, there's an encounter with more like-minded souls with whom we feel
understood at a more intimate level, where mutual support nourishes us not only as artists but
also as humans. This collision of internal and external worlds merges into energy in its purest
expression: love.
By being in balance both internally and externally, our existence in this playground feels more
fluid and peaceful.

"Encuentros" honors the extraordinary potential of artists and their creative nature, an ode to
community, support, and artistic expression by embracing each other's visions. Celebrates the
resilience, connection and remind of our shared humanity, encouraging compassion,
understanding and a sense of unity in a fragmented world.

CODA_PORTAL___TEXT

I truly believe creation is part of every human being by nature. I love to experiment with multiple
exposures and dreamy realms to explore the subtle and the unseen nature of reality through
ethereal imagery: it’s all subjective, all is possible, no boundaries, no rules; I love surreal
scenarios because allow me to learn from them.

The catharsis in my creative journey was the main reason of why "Portal" was created. I made a
photomontage in Photoshop with film photographs from my visual archive, thus giving them a
new purpose. "Portal" doesn’t have one establish meaning, each viewer can interpret the piece
based on their personal experiences and philosophy of life.
Intuition plays a very important role in my creative process and experimentation is the central
axis of my creative journey. Most of the times I don't know how the final piece will looks like,
there's something bigger and powerful that I allow to guide me in the process.

One of my life goals is to live in nature and that's why the "Portal" appears in the middle of a
forest, its atmosphere is mysterious and enigmatic, like life itself. I represented what I believe
our bodies are: a kind of portal that at the same time functions as a mirror with which we can
reflect our inner reality.
The portal is representing the intense light that every one of us emanates from within, the green
color signifying life as our essence . The catharsis is a process that we experience many times in
our short time on Earth, I like to call it "dying and reborn in life" as it welcomes a new and
improved stage in our persona.

I believe that the greatest adventure and one of the most beautiful and terrifying experiences at
the same time is knowing oneself, because one comes face to face with our light and our shadow
to reach a state of constant awareness.
With my art, I want to share what I have learned practicing introspection and observation.
"Portal" works as a way to reach an internal dialogue and self-meditation state.

We're constantly changing, growing and evolving according to the experiences that we have
every day and that's where the greatness of life resides.

"Portal" serves as a pathway to reach the internal dialogue and a self-meditation state. I created
what I believe our bodies are: a kind of portal that at the same time functions as a mirror with
which we can reflect our inner reality.
The portal represents the intense light that every one of us emanates from within, the green color
signifying life as our essence.
