INSTRUCTIONS FOR STUDENTS

FROM THE OFFICE OF THE CONTROLLER OF EXAMINATIONS

1. Students can view the time table for November 2023 End Semester Examination in
the student login.
2. Hall tickets will be available for downloading on Wednesday, November 01 2023.
3. Students are expected to note the subject code, date, time and venue of the
examination mentioned in the Hall ticket.
4. Examination timings: Forenoon (FN) session 9.00 am – 12.00 noon
Afternoon (AN) session 1.00 pm – 4.00 pm
4. Students will be permitted to enter the examination hall only with the Hall ticket and
Identity card. However, in case any student comes without the Hall ticket, a duplicate
can be got from the Examination office for a fee Rs.100/-. Similarly, in case any
student comes without the Identity card, a bonafide certificate will be available at the
main reception after paying the prescribed fee of Rs.50/-
5. No student will be allowed to enter the examination hall after the second bell. They
can enter the hall only after the third bell.
6. Entry into the examination hall after a lapse of half an hour is not permitted.
7. Students will have to enter all mandatory particulars provided in the space on the first
sheet of the answer booklet and first two sheets in case of postgraduates.
8. Writing of names or department numbers anywhere in the answer booklet is
strictly prohibited. Barcodes will be affixed by the invigilators in the relevant
box allocated in the answer booklet.
9. Students are required to bring their own pens, pencils, eraser, ruler and calculator.
Borrowing of any material will not be permitted under any circumstances.
10. No student will be permitted to have more than one calculator.
11. Wearing of smart watches is strictly banned during the examination.
12. Students are not permitted to carry mobile phones into the examination hall.
13. Students are expected to maintain perfect silence in the examination hall.
14. Students who leave the hall before the expiry of the examination time shall not engage
in conversation in the corridors.
15. Strict disciplinary action of cancellation of all examinations of this semester will
be implemented if any sort of malpractice is detected.
