Principal Steps Potential Safety/Health Hazards Recommended Controls

1 Set up temp. power 1 Electric shock 1 GFCI, qualified electrician:


-All electrical connections must be without any defects and all power hand
tools must be connected to the GFCI. (Such as Lights).

2 Clean work area 2 Trip & fall 2 House keeping crew maintains clean work area:
-House cleaning must be conducted daily to assure clean and safe site.
-Work will not be allowed in those areas that do not comply with the house-
keeping requirements.
-All material in bags, containers, bundles, or stored in tiers shall be stacked,
blocked, interlocked, and limited in height so that it is stable and secured
against sliding or collapse.
-Material shall not be stored loose on top of beams or other structural steel.
-Tools, material, extension cords, hoses, or debris shall not cause tripping
or other hazards.

3 Fix accessories 3 Pinch finger, laceration 3.1 Wear proper hand, eye & skin protection:
-Safety Hard Hats and Safety shoes must be worn at all times.
-Eye Goggles must be worn by all persons exposed to operations which
subject their eyes to dust or flying particles.
-Dust mask shall be worn by everyone involved in areasexcessive dust
levels are present. (for stucco application at the final coat).

4 Scaffolds 4 Trip & fall 4.1 Ensure using correct bracing, railing, correct configuration for scaffolds:
-Safety Scaffolds must be erected and used properly and per safety
standards. Unsafe scaffold must be removed immediately.
-Where scaffolds can not be installed a personnel fall arrest system must be used.
-All access ladders shall be installed per safety manual EM 385-1-1

-Weekly safety tool box meetings.
