DAY 1 – HOW FAITH RECEIVES

We are studying the ABCs of faith, because mankind’s only hope is in Jesus Christ.

STUDY IT
 Every one who knows Jesus as Lord and Savior has the faith of God.
 Signs will follow those who believe (Mark 16:15-18).
 Jesus’ words have not passed away (Hebrews 13:8).
 Faith is not a mental issue—it’s a heart, a spirit, an inner man issue.
 The key issue is faith—whosoever believes!
 Healing always comes, but it is not always received.
 Jesus spoke, but not everyone was listening to hear and be healed.
 The Old Covenant laid out the promises of God to bring Jesus into the world as a man.
 The New Covenant went into effect when Jesus was raised from the dead.
 When you receive Jesus as Lord and Savior you are born again as a new creature
(2 Corinthians 5:17-19).
 Jesus said you can hear His voice, so open your ears!

DAY 2 – PUT FAITH INTO OPERATION

Jesus is the Son of God (Matthew 16:16)! In His earthly ministry, Jesus did everything as a
man, except when He became our substitutionary sacrifice on the cross.

STUDY IT
 Jesus and Adam were both men in the earth exactly like God. Adam was tempted and
sinned. Jesus was tempted, but did not sin (Hebrews 4:15)!
 Jesus’ ministry began when He was baptized in water and the Holy Spirit
(Matthew 3:16-17).
 Jesus did nothing of Himself. He only did what He saw the Father do; and He only
said what He heard the Father say (John 5:19, 30).
 Jesus ministered in words and actions as a man—not as the Son of God.

 Just as Jesus did miracles and healings as a man filled with God’s Spirit, so you, being
filled with the Spirit of God, can do the same things (John 14:10-18).
 We operate as Jesus did, by faith, and we please God (Hebrews 11:6).
 Doing the works of Jesus is simply doing what Jesus told us to do (John 2:5-9).

Prayer for action:
Heavenly Father, I ask You today to teach me how to operate in faith doing what Jesus
did as a man filled with God’s Spirit. I want to hear You and obey Your instructions. I
desire to put faith into operation. Thank You, Sir. I pray in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

DAY 3 – HOW FAITH SPEAKS

Your words have purpose, and they accomplish things. Speak words that reinforce who you
are. You are a believer, you are strong, you have been made the righteousness of God in
Christ and you are anointed!

STUDY IT
 To operate in faith you need revelation knowledge that comes straight from the Holy
Spirit into your spirit.
 You were born again when it was revealed to you that Jesus is the Son of God, and
you chose Him to be your Lord and Savior.
 Revelation knowledge: God-given insight into His Word.
 To understand who you are in Christ, you need revelation knowledge.
 Jesus is Lord of the faith world.
 The devil is god of the natural feeling world that is based on fear.
 Worry is meditating on the lies of the devil.
 Fear is the opposite of faith.
 God has removed all your sin, so there’s nothing to block your faith!

DAY 4 – HOW FAITH THINKS

God removed all your sin. You can stop thinking, talking and condemning yourself about it.

STUDY IT
 You have been made totally righteous (2 Corinthians 5:17-21).

 Jesus was made sin with your sin, so that you can be made righteous with His
righteousness. You are righteous—in Him! In Christ!
 You are not the old you. You have been born again!
 You must change your thinking to match God’s Word about you.

 Thinking that you are the righteousness of God according to God’s Word is
thinking by faith (2 Corinthians 5:21).
 Thinking that you are healed by the stripes of Jesus is thinking by faith
(1 Peter 2:24).
 Renew your mind to the Word of God (Romans 12:2).
 You were born of Jewish parents: God is your Father, Jesus is your blood-brother and
the Holy Spirit gave birth to you.

DAY 5 – FAITH IS A DECISION

We walk and talk by faith, not by sight—not by what we feel, but by what we believe.

STUDY IT
 Jesus was made a curse for us that we might be blessed with the blessings of Abraham
(Galatians 3:14).
 There are certain things that belong to you because you are a joint-heir with Jesus
(Romans 8:17).
 God’s Word says He will never leave you, so you don’t have to pray for God to be with
you (Hebrews 13:5).
 Prayer does not make faith work, but prayer won’t work without faith.

 Find a statement or promise in God’s Word and know that it is the answer to the prayer
before you pray it. So, pray the prayer around the answer.
 For your prayer to be effective and your faith to work, you must forgive.
 You tell your flesh what to do, not the other way around.
 Say, “I am forgiven, I’m not condemned” (Romans 8:1-2).
