WELCOME DAY FOR NEW INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Online Introduction, Welcome Dinner & Kick-off Party

Friday, October 6th, 2023

The International Office welcomes you in Freiburg. In order to make your start in Freiburg as easy as
possible, the International Office offers a Welcome Day especially for newly registered international
students.

The first event will be online and aims to give you a first orientation. You will receive a lot of valuable
information, for example on:

- Your studies at the university

- University institutions, e.g. canteens, libraries and institutes etc.
- Language courses
- Leisure time activities, e.g. concerts, excursions, theatre etc.
- Cultural life in Freiburg and its surroundings

We also invite you to meet student organizations, other international students and us, the
International Office, starting at 5:00 p.m. in the cafeteria, Mensa Rempartstraße. There, after a
champagne reception, the Welcome Dinner Buffet and the Kick-off Party await you.
