“Globalization of the age of Trump”

Globalization refers to integration between people, companies, and governments. This integration occurs
on a global scale it is the process of expanding the business over the world. Donald Trump's presidency,
which began in 2017, posed a significant challenge of globalization. His "America First" policy
emphasized the prioritization of national interests over global cooperation. The Trump administration has
adopted a protectionist stance, taking a more aggressive and unilateral approach to trade policy. In
particular, the imposition of tariffs on major trading partners such as China and withdrawal from
multilateral agreements such as the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and the Paris Agreement on Climate
Change. In terms of foreign policy, the "America First" approach involved more profit, where the United
States would seek to negotiate better deals and agreements with other countries to benefit its own
interests. It also involved reevaluating and, in some cases, withdrawing from international agreements and
organizations, such as the Paris Agreement on climate change and the Iran nuclear deal. One of the most
notable features of Trump's approach to globalization was his aggressive use of taxes and trade
restrictions. He initiated trade wars with several major trading partners. The U.S-China trade war
involved taxes on hundreds of billions of dollars' worth of goods. In short, globalization in the Trump era
is marked by the abandonment of traditional principles of free trade, multilateralism and open borders.
Although some aspects of globalization, such as the flow of technology and information, continue to cross
borders, this era is characterized by tensions and challenges to an intergovernmental world order.
