My take on the chapter

Numerical Analysis is an easy chapter. If you look at the notes, it may seem bulky.
But the content is super simple and easy to understand and solve. You just need a
hands-on on a scientific calculator. I used a “fx-991ES Plus Casio” calculator, but any
scientific calculator would do. If you use the calculator correctly, in most of the
questions you just need to enter the expression once and just pressing a single key
multiple times will give you results of different iterations. I have tried to include “How
to use the calculator” at various places in my notes. You can have a look at that and
also look for YouTube videos for the same.

Computer Programming has very simple concepts. Just one look through them could
get you through this chapter. Algorithms and Flowcharts should not be memorised,
rather understood. You should be able to write algorithms for any Numerical analysis
method from this chapter. I took the reference of Kanishak Sir’s notes for the
algorithms and flowcharts. It gives a basic idea of what things to write and how to
represent algorithms/flowcharts.

Sometimes the questions get a bit lengthy and time consuming. Apart from this,
there should not be any reason to not attempt the questions from this chapter. As
Numerical Analysis is part of Section-B of Paper-2, you must practise the problems
of this chapter very well, especially if you are facing problems solving the questions
from Physics portions, i.e. Mechanics and Fluid Dynamics.

All the best !!
