This is a summary of how to map a local drive on your machine to your UNSW network drive. This will
come in handy when developing your project remotely and would like to host your application on the UNSW
network.
3 Mapping drive
3.1 For Windows
1. First turn on UNSW VPN
2. Then, right click on “this PC” (or my computer) and select “Map network drive”

4. In the new window, choose "use a different account"
5. Enter "adunsw
z3441915" and your zpass and then click "OK". Instead of z3441915, your must use your zID.
2. Open "Finder", then click on "Go" tab above and then select "Connect to Server..."

3. Enter the address "smb://engpwws005/z9999999$" where z9999999 is your student number.
4. A new window will appear asking for you to login to verify your authentication. Make sure you select
"Registered User" and then enter "admunsw
z9999999", and your UNSW ZPass. Click connect and you should now have mounted the network drive
to your local mac.
NOTE: The mapping process may not work due to a UNSW IT issue. If you do follow the process above
for your machine and an error occurs on connection, please let the course coordinator or tutors know and they
will let UNSW IT to allow connections to your network drive.
