GOVERNOR
The standard mechanical governor regulates the
steady state generating set speed within ±0.8%,
with a speed droop from no load to full load of
4%.
Fitting an electronically governed actuator
improves the steady state speed to within ±0.25%
GOVE1 to provide isochronous frequency regulation
typically required when supplying electronic or
other non-linear loads.
CONTROL REF
BIAS VIA GOVE1 is available on GEP80SP1, GEP100
and GEPX100.

GOVERNOR
The standard mechanical governor regulates the
steady state generating set speed within
±0.8%, with a speed droop from no load to
full load of 4%.
Fitting an electronically governed actuator
improves the steady state speed to within ±0.25%
to provide isochronous frequency regulation
typically required when supplying electronic or
other non-linear loads.
GOVE4 is fixed for isochronous operation only.
GOVE4 Speed adjust potentiometer option PSS1 cannot
be used with this governor option. Models
GEH175, GEH188, GEH220-2, GEH 250-2 and
GEH275-2 have the GOVE4 function as standard
in the ECM.
