A1000 System and Firmware Upgrade Guide

Before the update, please keep the power supply of your A1000 connected, and switch the keyboard off.
Attention please, Never power-off your A1000 while the update is in progress!
If a power failure or similar accident occurs during the update process, the A1000 won’t be able to start up in
normal operating mode.

Follow these steps for the update:

1. Use an empty USB flash disk which should be formatted to FAT32 format. We strongly recommend formatting the
USB flash disk with A1000 before use.
2. Copy the 2 update files “NKimage.bin” ,“XXXX.MUK” and “COM_DP1000.bin” to the root directory of the USB
flash disk.
3. Insert the USB flash disk to the USB to device port of A1000.
4. Press and hold the panel [STORE], [M1] and [M3] buttons simultaneously, then press the power switch button to
turn your A1000 on.
5. Keep pressing the panel [STORE], [M1] and [M3] buttons until the screen displays the update interface, like
Picture 1 showed below.
Note: The content and version information displayed in Picture 1 may be different from your firmware.

6. Press the “Start Update” button in the screen to start the update.
7. Wait a few minutes, you will see the success message when the update is finished.

8. To keep your software safety,Please wait another one minute and then go to the step 9

9. Turn off your A1000, then on again.

10. If necessary, you can check your currently firmware version from “Config1” tab of “Utility” setting in “Global
Setting” menu. Just at the bottom right corner.
