FACTS OF THE CASE
John Smith,a 45-year-old woke up on the 12th of November,
2018 with severe stomach upset. His wife tried using natural
remedies to solve the problem but it got worse as time went by.
His wife and children rushed him to Avillah Medical Center and
he was diagnosed with Appendix. He was advised to undergo
surgery to remove the Appendix. The surgery was performed by
Dr. Johnson, a surgeon employed by Avillah Medical Center.
The surgery was successful but subsequently Mr John
experienced complications.Several complain were made to the
hospital but little attention was given to Mr John due to the
number of patients they had.
Finally, Mr John was attended to and his stay was extended in
the hospital followed by additional surgeries. Now, John Smith
claims that the hospital and Dr. Johnson were negligent in their
care and treatment.
