Conflict of interest policy

Purpose:

◾The purpose of this policy is to protect the interests of the business in the day-to-day
course.
◾Agents and employees sometimes may have the opportunity to advance their own
personal interests with or against the interests of the business which is unacceptable.
◾This policy will outline the rules regarding conflict of interest and the responsibilities of
employees and the company to resolve them.

Applicability:

◾This policy involves everyone in our organization irrespective of their gender, sexual
orientation, status, or other characteristics. We are all obliged to accept this policy.

◾Employees, investors, contractors, customers and everyone interacting with our company
are covered by the present policy.

Some Examples of Employee conflict of interest:

◾Employees may use their position for their personal advantage.


◾Engaging in activities bringing profit to a competitor.
◾Owning shares of a competitor and working on his side too.
◾Using company equipment or means to support an external business.
◾Engaged in any illegal trading using the company name.

Guidelines:

◾Every employee/agent of must submit every information regarding any known or potential
conflicts of interest. Failure to do so could result in termination of employment.

◾The company will have all the pertinent information if there is a possible conflict of interest
and may question the concerned parties.

◾When an actual conflict of interest is found, the concerned parties will be informed and an
investigation will also be conducted.
◾If the conflict in question involves a member or members of the board of directors, such a
member will be excused from the deliberations.

◾The board of directors has full discretion to deem what disciplinary action is necessary,
including suspension or termination of employment.
