Instruction on practical exam schedule for candidates of

Cambridge Assessment International Education

June 2018 session

Dear candidate

I am writing to inform you about the arrangements for your practical examinations in the month of May 2018.

Session 2 10:45 12:00 14:00
Session 3 10:45 15:00 17:00
If you are in Session- 1, you must report by 8:30 AM. Whatever time you finish your exam, you will only be allowed to leave the exam
hall after 11:00 AM. We will arrange separate rooms from the exam halls where you can wait after the end of your exam.

If you are in Session- 2 or Session- 3, you must report by 10:45 AM. Please note that you will not be allowed to enter the examination
hall after 11:00 AM. Your exam will finish by 2:00 PM or 5:00 pm respectively. You will be allowed to bring your own food and text books.
We will arrange separate rooms from the exam halls where you can wait before the start of your exam.

Students of any session reporting to the exams venue after their scheduled time will not be allowed to sit their exams and there
will not be any exception to this.

Please bear in mind that the end time of the exam may slightly vary due to technical issues. Hence, you may have to wait longer than the above
mentioned schedule.

If you have a theory examination on the same date, you should inform us as soon as you receive this schedule. We will then make arrangement
for both exams in the same venue.

It is our duty to ensure that you sit your exam in optimum condition. Practical exams are designed to test not only your knowledge of the
subject but also your ability to perform under ‘real life’ condition and how you cope if things do not go as expected. Please pay close
attention to the briefing at the beginning of the exam to find out what to do if something goes wrong; e.g. if a test tube breaks or a piece
of equipment malfunctions.

If you have any queries or feel that something happened that may affect the outcome of your exam, please see the exams duty officer at
the venue who will be able to convey this information to the awarding body for consideration. It is vital that you do this on the day of the
exam.

I would remind you to bring your passport and statement of entry with you so that we can confirm your identity. Please do not bring any mobile
phone or electrical device with you.
