APPARATUS
1) BOD bottles
2) BOD incubator (Temperature = 20°C)
REAGENTS
Phosphate buffer
Dissolve each 8.5 g KH:POs, 21.75 g KsHPOs, 33.4 g NaHPO,7H20 dissolved 1.7 g NH
in distilled water to prepare 1 litter of solution. Adjust pH 7.2.
‘Magnesium Sulphate
Dissolve 27.5 g MgSOx.7H20 in distilled water to prepare 1 litre of solution.
Calcium Chloride
Dissolve 27.5 g of anhydrous CaCl in distilled water to prepare | litre of solution.
Ferric Chloride
Dissolve 0.25 g FeCls 6H20 in distilled water to Prepare | litre of solution.
