INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES
1.Check the Intimation Letter carefully and bring discrepancies, if any to the notice of the Meghalaya Public Service Commission immediately.

2.Candidates should report to the Examination Hall at least 1 hour before the start of the examination and observe silence in the Examination
Hall. Any conversation or disturbance in the Examination Hall shall be deemed as misbehaviour. If a candidate is found using unfair means,
his/her candidature shall be cancelled.

3.Candidates must read the instructions printed on the Call Letter.

4.Candidates should not bring any article into the Examination Hall. He/She should leave books/notes, used test Booklets or any other material
with the Invigilator in the room.

5.Seats indicating Roll Nos will be allotted to the candidates and they must occupy their allotted seat only.
6.Possession/Use of CALCULATORS/MOBILE PHONES AND OTHER ELECTRONIC/COMMUNICATION DEVICES is banned in the
examination premises. Candidates are adivsed in the own interest not to bring any of the banned items to the Examination Centre as
arrangement for their safekeeping cannot be assured.

7.Candidates should carefully read and follow the instructions on the cover of the Test Booklet/Answer Sheets which will be provided to them
in the Examination Hall.

8.If OMR Sheets are used, candidates should write clearly in BLACK BALL POINT PEN his/her Centre, Subject & Roll Number at the
appropriate space provided for the purpose on the Answer Sheet and to encode in BLACK BALL POINT PEN the series of the Test Booklet,
Subject Code and the Roll Number. The candidate must not write his/her name or anything else on the Answer Sheet except the specific items
which are asked for. If he/she does so, he/she will be penalised.

8-A. Series Marking : Multiple Series Marking will not be evaluated. So candidates are requested to darken the series as per the Question
Paper Booklet.

9.No candidate will be allowed to leave the Examination Hall/Room until the conclusion of the duration of the Screening Test/Written
Examination.

10.The Invigilator on duty will make an announcement regarding the close of the Examination, 5 minutes before the closing time and when the
final bell rings. All the writing should be stopped accordingly.

11.Your candidature to the examination is provisional.If at any stage of recruitment you are found not eligible or barred by 'court of law' or
barred by order of any Commission, your candidature shall be summarily rejected.

12. No Vehicle will be allowed to park inside Exam centre. Candidates are advised to make their own parking arrangement.

13. EXAMINATION CENTRE ONCE OPTED CANNOT BE CHANGED

(a) 'Category' : (a) If you belong to Khasi-Jaintia community, please darken the circle below 'Khasi Jaintia', (b) If you belong to Garo
community, please darken the circle below 'Garo', (c) if you belong to other community and belongs ST/SC, then darken the circle below
'Other-STs/SCs'. (d) If you do not belong to (a),(b),(c) above categories, then darken the circle below 'General'

(b) Sports Person : If you have represented the State at the International, National and Regional levels in disciplines listed in the olympics,
then only you are considered a 'Sports Person' as defined under OM No. PER(AR)150/88/534 Dt. 7.8.2017

(c) PH Candidate : PH Stands for Physically Handicapped person. Person defined under OM No. PER(AR)150/88/534 Dt. 7.8.2017 are
considered PH Candidate. You must also possess a certificate from competent Authority to claim that you are PH Candidate. Then and then
only darken the circle under PH Candidate.
