Agreement to amend the Agreement of 3 August 1959 to


Supplement the Agreement between the Parties to the North
Atlantic Treaty regarding the Status of their Forces with
respect to Foreign Forces stationed in the Federal Republic of
Germany.

Entry into Force: January 18, 1974

In accordance with Article 4, the Agreement was subject to ratification or approval and
instruments of ratification or approval of the Agreement were deposited by the signatory
States with the Government of the United States of America. The Agreement entered into
force thirty days after the deposit of the last instrument of ratification or approval.
Note: This Agreement also amends the Protocol of Signature to the Agreement to Supplement the
Agreement between the Parties to the North Atlantic Treaty regarding the Status of their Forces with
respect to Foreign Forces stationed in the Federal Republic of Germany.
