Title of Activity: Maintained a well-managed, clean, and tidy School Canteen

Activity Objectives: To ensure the safety and cleanliness of the school canteen

Venue: Camangyanan Elementary School (Canteen)

Narrative:

The environment can exert a strong influence on people's food decisions. To facilitate students to make
healthier food choices and to develop healthy eating habits, it is important that the school food environment is
healthy. With proper management of the school canteen, an environment to select healthy foods is created
which prevents opportunities for the selection of unhealthy foods. Also, proper use of the canteen premises to
convey messages that promote a healthy lifestyle will go a long way to improve the health of children.

The Camangyanan Elementary School maintained a well-managed, clean, and tidy school canteen.
Before the opening of classes, the school personnel of CES prepare and strategize how the school manage the
canteen for the School Year 2022-2023.

In line with this, the school maintained the cleanliness of the canteen by cleaning the facility before the
learners take their break time and especially in the afternoon after the classes to sanitize and disinfect the school
canteen to ensure the safety of the learners and personnel.

Maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the school canteen marked a big helped to the learners and
personnel of the school.
