MIGRATION STRATEGY BOARD

A successful migration can completely transform an organization’s overall
operating environment, yielding significant, lasting benefits.

The Migration Strategy Board is designed to help organizations understand the steps of
data center and cloud migrations. It is an interactive rendering of David-Kenneth Group’s
tested and proven migration methodology.

The board is organized into the 5 phases of our methodology:

How to interact with the Migration Strategy Board

The Migration Strategy Board moves you through the steps of each phase, block by block. Each
block includes objectives, deliverables, tools, and action items. It includes a baseline of over 80
deliverables and a migration toolbox with 2 primary tool sets.

Standard blocks show objectives for a data center migration, while blocks with cloud icons show Go to Migration Strategy Board /
objectives for a cloud migration. Blocks with white icons can be opened to see additional
information. When you see a box with an icon, click on the icon to see the details.
