This supplement focuses on vampires of the
Bloodlines, those who are ignored, or simply lack
numbers and political power to interest any Sect.
Numerical minority relegates them to pawns of the
powerful, rarely rising into positions of authority, and
requiring strong survival instincts. This is not to say that
the Bloodlines are dependent on others, or are only
m
defined by relationships with more recongisable Clans.
Rather, Bloodlines represent an opportunity to explore
the Jyhad from a different perspective. Like it or not,
Bloodline kindred must exercise varying degrees of
caution as they lack the privilege of influence-rich Clans.
In short, Bloodlines lack the political power derived from
a Clan Founder that would otherwise provide security
within the Camarilla; and whilst the Sabbat is somewhat
Sa
more meritocratic (superficially at least) Clan divisions
still exist.
Within these pages, you’ll find three Bloodline
characters from the Daughters of Cacophony, the Samedi,
and the Nagaraja. Each chapter presents the history and
motivation of the character and story hooks for your
chronicle.
Whilst each entry uses some US-centric terminology
(such as educational institutions, or military ranks), game
details and meta-plot ties are absent. This intentionally
provides a ‘blank space’ into which Storytellers can easily
insert their own chronicle details. The kindred in this

fil
title could easily find other homes – Persephone could
stalk the cafes and underground music venues of
Amsterdam, Treshawn could capitalise on the apocalypse-
scenario-driven property investment in New Zealand, and
Allessandra’s focus could be a boon Cainites of Sydney,
Australia. Readers will no doubt create far more
compelling narratives at their tables by repurposing and
remixing this trio.
The Masquerade
Thou shalt not reveal thy true nature to one who is not of the
blood. Doing so shall renounce thy claims of blood.
Each of the characters presented herein have found
ways to coexist with humanity, hide their monstrous
nature, and avoid detection. Their story seeds reflect the
precarious balance of vampiric nature and Masquerade,
and explore the potential ramifications of discovery.
Coteries interacting with these stories require cunning
and tact as violence will only few of these challenges can
be met with violence – in fact violence will most likely
lead to more complications and increased chances of
exposure (this time for the coterie). Maintaining this
balance is the challenge many Camarilla and neutral
Clans face nightly, and these Bloodline-based vampires
are no exception.
