Demonstration Speech Assignment

8-15 minutes

You are going to plan, write and deliver a speech that will inform the
audience of how to do something, or how to make something. The
entire procedure will be down in front of the audience in real time.

Requirements
1.Have the necessary materials to demonstrate your
speech.
2.Provide printable directions if indicated, a recipe for
example, to facilitate the viewers to replicated the
demonstration if desired,
3.Have background info, fun facts, banter, etc. to fill
the time. (We don't want to just watch you stir for
two minutes.)
4.You can use shortcuts such as pre-measured
ingredients or pre-cut fabric. Baking, drying, time
etc. is of course eliminated just mention how much
time it will take and show the finished product at
the end.
5.Dress for success- appropriate to your topic to give
credibility.
6.Full sentence outline handed in prior to speech.
