Introduction

ICT systems and functions are important parts of the structure of any organization.

Without functioning communication, telecommunication and IT solutions, operations are neither

smooth nor in line with the purpose. These solutions form the structures and processes on which

a large part of the business processes of companies operate today. In addition to traditional

telecommunication and data communication solutions, the projects may include, for example, the

acquisition and development of various IT systems, such as enterprise resource planning

systems, the acquisition and integration of digital systems, and many other acquisitions of

electronic systems and solution and deployments. Another benefit of technology in real estate

organization is that it allows the agents of real estate to know more about their purchasers to deal

with them better (Sawyer et al. 2014).

Special Features in the Real Estate Sector

The organizations under study differ from other procurement units and companies in that

they only operate in one city. In addition, the real estate industry's needs for telecommunication

solutions differ a lot from a normal procurement unit or company. More and more often, real

estate companies offer their residents modern internet connections. In terms of prices and

services, real estate subscriptions differ greatly from other telecommunication purchases (Ullah

et al. 2017). Nowadays, in tenders for real estate connections, entertainment services offered by

operators are increasingly taken into account. In addition, various IoT and property automation

solutions are increasingly being used in new construction and renovation sites.. In addition to

telecommunication connections brought to real estate, projects have been carried out with

customers in the field, for example, related to Contact Center, voice and document management

solutions. Current real estate connection projects often include bidding for the connections

required by real estate automation (Del et al. 2018).

Real Estate Automation and Digitalization

The ICT needs of real estate have changed a lot in recent years as new technological

solutions become more common. Real estate automation and IoT technology bring new solutions

to real estate related to, for example, real estate automation, intelligent monitoring and

maintenance of real estate, and information management and utilization. The digitization of

customer encounters, new smart solutions for housing services and multi-channels cause new

needs in real estate organizations. Data collection and its proper utilization help organizations

develop customer experience and improve the organization's operations. It is very essential for

the businesses of real estate to make sense of digital in digital world today (Piazolo, 2018). This

is where reporting becomes a crucial element for the operations of automating real estate.

Previously, the builders and developers of real estate used to record data and create reports

manually from Google and Excel Sheets, a cumbersome task that comes off with operational

gaps and inaccuracies. With automated reporting, brokers and builders can increase the

performance of agent, performances of channel, revenue generated and decisions of data-driven

on real-time and custom metrics (Huamanchahua et al. 2021).

Building Automation and Sensor Technology

Increasing the intelligence of buildings and the environment is a significant development

trend in the real estate industry. The background of the trend is the development of information,

energy, electrical and material technologies and building automation systems (Yu, 2021). The

new systems aim at the sustainable development of properties and a safe and healthy living

environment. IoT can give up-to-date records of maintenance and history of property. Wide

range of data can be gathered about the condition of the building including humidity,

temperature, presence of people, quality of air, and many more, through sensors implementation.

System access and complete viability can get through automated data monitoring, and problems

can be communicated quickly (Han et al. 2013).

IoT and Real Estate Management

The Iot can be very helpful for the professionals of real estate organizations to manage

and develop the businesses very efficiently. IoT enables devices can make homes and can make

the selling process smarter and also takes many leg-work off of the agent. By the growth in this

area of organization, agent can be able to eliminate error, save time, and analyze the automated

data more productively. In the organizations of real estate, property managers and agents can use

the cloud for accessing documents and tract trends in very organized way. Date available to the

managers of property, in specific, can be helpful in understanding the tenant preferences and

behavior. Often, the data utilized for informing decisions on how to make improvements in

properties and providing a top-notch experience for tenants (Mohammed & Bello, 2021).

Conclusion

Utilization of ICT in real estate organizations has positive impacts as it promote the brand

of company thereby expands the patronage level. ICT systems and functions are important parts

of the structure of any organization and also for real estate organizations. Property managers and

owners are utilizing ICT increasingly and it integrates the operations like property maintenance,

marketing to leasing and more. Technology can be helpful in the organizations of real estate in

collecting data and interpreting it. Features of automation, digitalization and many more can help

the organizations of real estate to grow their business by management of data, problem

analyzing, and bringing out the efficient and right decisions as it allows the organizations to

make very smart decisions and positions for great success. Technology gives valuable insights to

the organization.
