1. Which specification & courses do you teach? Language or Literature
or Lang/Lit?
2. How do you inspire and attract students to take English post-GCSE?
3. How do you structure your lessons around exam texts and
coursework?
4. Do you ask students to buy a particular textbook or set of resources
(aside from their core texts)?
5. Coursework element: how do you manage the deadlines and guide
them in their writing?
6. How do you manage the transition for students from GCSE and
support them in developing effective reading habits? For example:
summer reading & study, transition units, guided reading sessions to
start with and homework with structured reading tasks.
7. How do you develop oracy in A level English courses?
