A brief conversation about directions.

B: ... Hello, Steffano?
A: Yes, it's me. Gina, where are you?
B: I'm sorry, I'm lost, but I'll take a taxi to get there as fast as I can. Right
now, I'm at the Plaza Mayor.
A: Alright, where in the Plaza Mayor are you?
B: I'm at the Cathedral, looking towards Santa Maria School.
A: Okay, first go to your left, to the corner by the National Bank. Then, turn
left and go down Av. Country until you reach Av. Brasil. Turn right there
and continue until you reach Av. Anchoveta. Take a left and head towards
"Parque La Paz." Finally, turn right and continue along Avenida
Universitaria. I'll be there, at the university entrance.
B: Perfect. Is that the shortest route? The taxi driver suggested a faster
route through Av. Pacífico and then Av. Anchoveta.
A: Yes, it is, but there's a lot of traffic. It's better to take the route I'm
suggesting.

C: Hey, what a coincidence running into you here.

D: Yeah, I came for a general checkup. Now, I'm heading to the pharmacy
and then to the university. How about you?
C: I'm just going to the university, but I can accompany you to the
pharmacy; it shouldn't be too far.
D: I'm not sure; I don't know Nuevo Chimbote very well. I live in
Chimbote.
C: No worries. The closest and reliable one is at "Óvalo la Familia." First,
we need to go all the way down Av. Anchoveta until we reach Parque la
Cultura. Then, we turn left and go straight to the roundabout. There, we
can get your prescription.
D: Thank you very much, Teresa. Let's hurry so we don't arrive late for the
festival.

C: All set, I've got everything. I know a quick route to get to the festival on
time.
D: Really? What is it?
C: Yes, we'll go right until we reach the "Tabernáculo de la Fe" Church.
Then, we'll turn right until we find a small park. We'll enter on the left into
a side street and pass by Gastón Vidal School. After that, we'll turn right
onto Av. Brasil, and finally, at the traffic light, we'll turn right again. There's
the first entrance to the university.
D: Perfect, let's go right away... Taxi! Taxi!
B: … ¿Hola?, ¿Steffano?
A: Si, soy yo, ¿dónde estás?
B: Lo siento, estoy perdida, pero voy a tomar un taxi para llegar lo más
rápido, ahora me encuentro en la Plaza Mayor.
A: Está bien, ¿en qué parte de la plaza mayor te encuentras?
B: Estoy en la Catedral mirando hacia el colegio Santa María
A: Ok, primero ve a la izquierda, hasta la esquina del banco de la nación,
luego giras a la izquierda, avanzas toda la Av. Country hasta llegar a la Av.
Brasil, giras a la derecha y avanzas hasta la Av. Anchoveta, giras a la
izquierda y llegas hasta el “Parque La Paz”, por último, giras a la derecha y
avanzas toda la Avenida Universitaria, ahí estoy yo, en la puerta de la
Universidad.
B: Perfecto, ¿esa es la ruta más corta?, el taxista me brinda otra ruta más
rápido por toda la Av. Pacífico y luego Av. Anchoveta.
A: Si lo es, pero hay mucho tráfico, es mejor la ruta que te doy.

C: Hola, qué casualidad encontrarte acá.

D: Si, vine a realizarme un chequeo general, ahora me dirijo a la farmacia y
luego a la Universidad, ¿y tú?
C: Yo solo me dirijo a la Universidad, pero te acompaño a la Farmacia, no
debe estar muy lejos.
D: No lo sé, no conozco mucho Nuevo Chimbote, yo vivo en Chimbote.
C: Está bien, no te preocupes, la más cercana y de confianza se encuentra
en el óvalo la Familia, primero hay que avanzar toda la Av. Anchoveta
hasta llegar al Parque la Cultura, luego giramos a la izquierda e iremos
directo hasta el Óvalo, ahí compramos tu receta.
D: Muchas gracias Teresa, vamos rápido para no llegar tarde al festival.

C: Listo, ya tengo todo, conozco una ruta rápida para llegar a tiempo al
festival.
D: ¿Sí?, ¿cuál es?
C: Si, vamos a la derecha hasta llegar a la Iglesia “Tabernáculo de la Fe”,
luego giramos a la derecha hasta encontrar un pequeño Parque, entramos
a la izquierda en un jirón y pasamos por el colegio Gastón Vidal, luego
giramos a la derecha en la Av. Brasil y por último en el semáforo vamos a
la derecha, ahí está la primera puerta de la Universidad.
D: Perfecto, vamos de una vez… ¡Taxiii!, ¡Taxiii!.
