ඔබ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයකට ප්‍රෙවේශ වීම සඳහා සුදුසුකම් ලැබීෙම්දී බලපානේනා වු සාධක:
1. (අ) විශ්වවිද්‍යාල ප්‍රෙවේශය පිණිස ඔබ ෙමවර ෙතෝරාගැනීමට අදාළ වූ අවස්ථාව ඇතුළුව අවස්ථා තුනකට වැඩි ගණනකදී අ.ෙපො.ස.(උසස් ෙපළ) විභාගයට ෙපනී
සිට ඇත්නම්, ෙහෝ
(ආ) පහත 2 වගනේතිෙයහි දක්වා ඇති විධිවිධානවලට යටත්ව ඔබ මීට ප්‍රථමෙයනේ එහි සඳහනේ යම් උසස් අධ්‍යාපන ආයතනයක අභ්‍යනේතර ශිෂ්‍යෙයකු වශෙයනේ
ලියාපදිංචි වී සිටී නම්/සිටිෙයේ නම්, ෙහෝ
(ඇ) විශ්වවිද්‍යාල ප්‍රෙවේශය හා එහි ලියාපදිංචිය සඳහා ඔබ විසිනේ අසත්‍ය ෙතොරතුරු ප්‍රකාශ කර ඇත්නම් ෙහෝ ව්‍යාජ ලියකියවිලි ඉදිරිපත් කර ඇත්නම්, ඔබෙගේ
විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයකට ඇතුළත් වීම සඳහා වු ෙමම ෙතෝරා ගැනීම අවලංගු ෙවේ.
සැළකිය යුතුයි: යම් ෙලසකිනේ ඔබ ඇතුළත් කරගැනීෙමනේ පසු විශ්වවිද්‍යාල ප්‍රෙවේශය ෙහෝ ලියාපදිංචිය සඳහා අයදුම් කිරීෙම්දී ඔබ විසිනේ සපයන ලද ෙතොරතුරු
වැරදි ෙහෝ අසත්‍ය බව අනාවරණය වුවෙහොත් ඔබ අදාළ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලෙයනේ / උසස් අධ්‍යාපන ආයතනෙයනේ පහ කිරීමට කටයුතු කරන බව
සළකනේන.
2. 2021/2022 අධ්‍යයන වරේෂය සඳහා විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයක ලියාපදිංචිවීමට අෙප්ක්ෂා කරන සෑම අෙප්ක්ෂකෙයකුෙගේම අවධානය පහත සඳහනේ කරුණු ෙකෙරහි ෙයොමු
කරනු ලැෙබේ.
(අ) 1978 අංක 16 දරණ විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පනත (වරිනේ වර සංෙශෝධිත) යටෙත් ස්ථාපිත කරන ලද රජෙයේ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයක /උසස් අධ්‍යාපන ආයතනයක අධ්‍යයන
පාඨමාලාවක් හැදෑරීම සඳහා අභ්‍යනේතර ශිෂ්‍යෙයකු වශෙයනේ ලියාපදිංචි වී සිටි /සිටින සිසුනේ, 1978 අංක 16 දරණ විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පනත (වරිනේ වර සංෙශෝධිත)
යටෙත් ෙනොවන ෙවනත් පාරේලිෙම්නේතු පනතක් යටෙත් ශ්‍රි ලංකාෙවේ ස්ථාපිත කරන ලද විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයක /ආයතනයක නිදහස් අධ්‍යාපන අවස්ථාවක් යටෙත්
ප්‍රථම උපාධි පාඨමාලා හැදෑරීමට අභ්‍යනේතර ශිෂ්‍යෙයකු වශෙයනේ ලියාපදිංචි වි සිටි/සිටින සිසුනේ, අධ්‍යාපන විද්‍යා පීඨයක (College of Education) අධ්‍යයන
පාඨමාලාවක් හැදෑරීම සඳහා අභ්‍යනේතර ශිෂ්‍යෙයකු වශෙයනේ ලියාපදිංචි වී සිටි/සිටින සිසුනේ, වෘත්තීය තාක්ෂණ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලය යටෙත් ස්ථාපිත කරන ලද
විශ්වවිද්‍යාල විද්‍යායතනයක් (University College) මඟිනේ පවත්වනු ලබන තුනේ (03) අවුරුදු ඩිප්ෙලෝමා පාඨමාලාවක් හැදෑරීම සඳහා නිදහස් අධ්‍යාපන
අවස්ථාවක් යටෙත් අභ්‍යනේතර සිසුනේ ෙලස ලියාපදිංචි වී සිටි/සිටින සිසුනේ, ප්‍රථම උපාධි පාඨමාලාවක් හැදෑරීම සඳහා උසස් අධ්‍යාපන අමාත්‍යංශය මගිනේ
විෙදේශ ශිෂ්‍යත්වයක් ලබාෙගන ඇති සිසුනේ සහ ශ්‍රි ලංකාෙවේ උසස් අධ්‍යාපන ආයතනයකිනේ දැනටමත් ප්‍රථම උපාධියක් ෙහෝ අදාළ සුදුසුකමක් ලබා ඇති
සිසුනේ 1978 අංක 16 දරණ විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පනත (වරිනේ වර සංෙශෝධිත) යටෙත් ස්ථාපිත කරන ලද රජෙයේ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයකට /උසස් අධ්‍යාපන ආයතනයකට
ප්‍රෙවේශ වීම සඳහා සුදුසුකම් ෙනොලබයි.

(ආ) i ශ්‍රි ලංකා උසස් තාක්ෂණ අධ්‍යාපන ආයතනය (SLIATE) යටෙත් පවත්නා ආයතනයක් මඟිනේ පවත්වනු ලබන තුනේ අවුරුදු ෙහෝ ඊට වැඩි කාලයක උසස්
ජාතික ඩිප්ෙලෝමා පාඨමාලාවක් (HND) ෙහෝ ජාතික ආධුනිකත්ව හා කාරේමික පුහුණු කිරීෙම් අධිකාරිය (NAITA) යටෙත් ඇති ඉංජිෙනේරු තාක්ෂණ
ආයතනය (IET) මඟිනේ පවත්වන ජාතික ඉංජිෙනේරු විද්‍යා ඩිප්ෙලෝමා පාඨමාලාව (NDES) පුරේණකාලීනව හැදෑරීම සඳහා ලියාපදිංචි වී සිටි/සිටින සිසුනේ
1978 අංක 16 දරණ විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පනත (වරිනේ වර සංෙශෝධිත) යටෙත් ස්ථාපිත කරන ලද රජෙයේ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයකට /උසස් අධ්‍යාපන ආයතනයකට
ප්‍රෙවේශ වීම සඳහා සුදුසුකම් ෙනොලබයි.
ii ෙකෙසේ වුවද ඉහත 2(ආ) i යටෙත් සඳහනේ ආයතනයක ඉහතිනේ සඳහනේ කරන ලද යම් පාඨමාලාවක් හැදෑරීම සඳහා ලියාපදිංචි වු ශිෂ්‍යෙයකුට
ලියාපදිංචිවීම සඳහා අදාළ ආයතනය විසිනේ ලබා දී ඇති අවසාන දින සිට දින 60 ක කාලයක් ඇතුළත එම ලියාපදිංචිය අවලංගු කර ගතෙහොත් පමණක්,
එෙසේ ලියාපදිංචිවීමට පදනම් වු ප්‍රතිඵල ලබාගත් අ.ෙපො.ස (උසස් ෙපළ) විභාගයට පසුව පැවැත්වු අ.ෙපො.ස (උසස් ෙපළ) විභාගයක ප්‍රතිඵල මත 1978
අංක 16 දරණ විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පනත (වරිනේ වර සංෙශෝධිත) යටෙත් පිහිටුවා ඇති විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයක/උසස් අධ්‍යාපන ආයතනයක යම් අධ්‍යයන පාඨමාලාවක්
සඳහා ප්‍රෙවේශය ලැබීමට අයදුම් කළ හැකිය. ෙකෙසේ වුවත් පුරප්පාඩු පිරවීම යටෙත් ඉහත 2 (ආ) i හි සඳහනේ ආයතනයකට ෙතෝරා ගැෙනන සිසුනේට ෙමම
සහනය ෙනොලැෙබේ.
iii ඉහත සඳහනේ කළ කාලය ඇතුළත ලියාපදිංචිය අවලංගු කර ගැනීම සඳහා අයදුම් ෙනොකරන ලද කිසියම් අෙප්ක්ෂකෙයකු ඉහත 2 (ආ) i ෙකොටසට අයත්
වන බැවිනේ එෙසේ ලියාපදිංචිවීමට පදනම් වූ ප්‍රතිඵල ලබාගත් අ.ෙපො.ස.(උසස් ෙපළ) විභාගයට පසුව පැවැත්වූ අ.ෙපො.ස.(උසස් ෙපළ) විභාගයක ප්‍රතිඵල
මත, 1978 අංක 16 දරණ විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පනත (වරිනේ වර සංෙශෝධිත) යටෙත් ස්ථාපිත කරන ලද රජෙයේ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයක ෙහෝ උසස් අධ්‍යාපන
ආයතනයක ප්‍රථම උපාධි පාඨමාලාවක් හැදෑරීම සඳහා සුදුසුකම් ෙනොලබයි.

(ඇ) ඉහත 2 (අ) සහ 2 (ආ) i හි සඳහනේ ආයතනවලට පරිබාහිර වූ ෙවනත් ආයතනයක පුරේණ කාලීන පාඨමාලාවක් හැදෑරීම පිණිස ලියාපදිංචි වී ඇති කවර
ශිෂ්‍යයකු වුවද එම ආයතනෙයනේ අස්වු බවට නිකුත් කරන ලද ලිපියක් ඉදිරිපත් කළෙහොත් මිස රජෙයේ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයක/උසස් අධ්‍යපන ආයතනයක ප්‍රථම
උපාධි පාඨමාලාවක් සඳහා ලියාපදිංචි කරනු ෙනොලැෙබේ. එෙසේ වුවද, යම් ශිෂ්‍යෙයකු විශ්වවිද්‍යාලෙයේ ප්‍රධානියාෙගේ අවසරය ලබා ෙවනත් යම් ආයතනයක
අරේධකාලීන පාඨමාලාවක් හැදෑරීම පිළිබඳව විරුදේධත්වයක් ෙනොමැත.

(ඈ) 2021/2022 අධ්‍යයන වරේෂය සඳහා ෙත්රී ඇති යම් පාඨමාලාවක් සඳහා ඔබ විශ්වවිද්‍යාල ප්‍රතිපාදන ෙකොමිෂනේ සභාෙවේ ලියාපදිංචි වුවෙහොත් නැවත පසු
වරේෂයක පැවැත්ෙවන අ.ෙපො.ස.(උසස් ෙපළ) විභාගයක ප්‍රතිඵල මත විශ්වවිද්‍යාල ප්‍රෙවේශය සඳහා සුදුසුකම් ෙනොලබනු ඇත.

3. ඔබෙගේ ප්‍රෙවේශය පිළිබදව අභියාචනයක් ඉදිරිපත් කිරීමට ෙහෝ ප්‍රෙවේශය කලේ ගැනීමට අවශ්‍ය නම්, විශ්වවිද්‍යාල ප්‍රෙවේශය සඳහා අයදුම්කිරීමට ඔබ දැනටමත් මිලදී
ෙගන ඇති ‘ශ්‍රි ලංකාෙවේ විශ්වවිද්‍යාල ප්‍රථම උපාධි පාඨමාලා සඳහා ප්‍රෙවේශය - අධ්‍යයන වරේෂය 2021/2022 නමැති අත්ෙපොෙතහි පිළිෙවලිනේ ෙජේද අංක 4.4 හා 4.6 හි
දී ඇති උපෙදස් අනුව කටයුතු කරනේන.

4. මහෙපොළ උසස් අධ්‍යාපන ශිෂ්‍යත්ව: මහෙපොළ ශිෂ්‍යත්ව අයදුම්පත්‍රයක් ෙමයට යා ෙකොට ඇත. මහෙපොළ ශිෂ්‍යත්වයක් සඳහා ඔබ සළකා බලනු ලැබීමට
කැමැත්ෙතහි නම් ෙමම මහෙපොළ අයදුම්පත්‍රය A4 ප්‍රමාණෙයේ ෙකොළවල ෙදපැත්ෙත්ම මුද්‍රණය වන ෙලස මුද්‍රණය කරෙගන එය සම්පූරේණ කර ඔබ ෙකොට්ඨාශෙයේ
ග්‍රාම ෙසේවා නිලධාරී තැනට, විශ්වවිද්‍යාල ප්‍රතිපාදන ෙකොමිෂනේ සභාව ෙවත එවීම පිණිස භාරදිය යුතුය. සාමාන්‍ය ශිෂ්‍යත්ව සඳහා ෙමනේම, කුසලතා ශිෂ්‍යත්ව සඳහාද
සළකා බැලීමට මහෙපොළ ශිෂ්‍යත්ව අයදුම්පත විශ්වවිද්‍යාල ප්‍රතිපාදන ෙකොමිෂනේ සභාව ෙවත ඉදිරිපත් කිරීම අනිවාරේය ෙවේ. අයදුම්පත්‍රෙයේ සඳහනේ දිනට ෙහෝ ඊට
ප්‍රථම ෙමම අයදුම්පත්‍රය විශ්වවිද්‍යාල ප්‍රතිපාදන ෙකොමිෂනේ සභාවට ලැෙබන බවට ඔබ විසිනේ වග බලාගත යුතුය. මහෙපොළ අයදුම්පත පිරවීමට අදාළ උපෙදස්
මහෙපොළ අයදුම්පත අවසානෙයේ දක්වා ඇත. නියමිත පරිදි සම්පුරේණ ෙකොට ෙනොමැති අයදුම්පත් ප්‍රතික්ෙෂේප කරනු ලැෙබේ. ශිෂ්‍යාධාර සඳහා අයදුම්පත් එක් එක්
විශ්වවිද්‍යාලය මඟිනේ නිකුත් කරනු ලැෙබේ.

5. මීට අමතරව, අනේතරේජාලය හරහා ලියාපදිංචිය අවසානෙයේ දී නවකවදය පිටු දැකීම සඳහා වූ ශිෂ්‍යාෙගේ/ශිෂ්‍යාවෙගේ ප්‍රකාශය භාගත කර A4 ප්‍රමාණෙයේ ෙකොළයක
ෙදපැත්ෙත්ම මුද්‍රණය කර එය නිසි පරිදි පුරවා අත්සනේ කර විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයට ෙගොස් ලියාපදිංචි වීෙමදි අනිවාරේෙයනේම රැෙගන යා යුතුය. මුද්‍රිත පිටපත තැපෑෙලනේ
විශ්වවිද්‍යාල ප්‍රතිපාදන ෙකොමිෂනේ සභාව ෙවත එවීම අවශ්‍ය ෙනොෙවේ.

6. ෙත්රී පත්වු විශ්වවිද්‍යාලෙයේ /මණ්ඩපෙයේ/ආයතනෙයේ අදාළ පාඨමාලාව සඳහා ලියාපදිංචි විම.

ඔබ ෙත්රී පත්වූ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලය සහ අදාළ පාඨමාලාව සඳහා ලියාපදිංචි වීම අනේතරේජාලය හරහා සිදු කිරීම අනිවාරේයය අවශ්‍යතාවයක් බව සළකනේන.
(අනේතරේජාලය හරහා ලියාපදිංචි වීමට අදාළ උපෙදස් ඇමුණුම් අංක 2 හි දක්වා ඇත)
සැළකිය යුතුයි: යම් කිසි ශිෂ්‍යයකු විශ්වවිද්‍යාල ප්‍රතිපාදන ෙකොමිෂනේ සභාෙවනේ එවන ලද ෙත්රීම් ලිපිය අනේතරේජාලය හරහා භාගත කරගත පසු විශ්වවිද්‍යාල
ප්‍රතිපාදන ෙකොමිෂනේ සභාවට බැර වන ෙසේ බැංකුවකට ෙහෝ අනේතරේජාලය හරහා රු: 50/= ක මුදලක් ෙගවා ලියාපදිංචිවීමට දී ඇති අවසාන
දින ෙහෝ එදිනට ෙපර ඔහු / ඇය ෙත්රී පත්වු පාඨමාලාවට සහ අනුයුක්ත කරන ලද විශ්වවිද්‍යාලය/උසස් අධ්‍යාපන ආයතනය සඳහා විශ්වවිද්‍යාල
ප්‍රතිපාදන ෙකොමිෂනේ සභාෙවේ නිල ෙවබේ අඩවිය හරහා අනේතරේජාලය මඟිනේ ලියාපදිංචි වූ විට ඔහු /ඇය 1978 අංක 16 දරණ විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පනතට
(වරිනේ වර සංෙශෝධිත) අනුව ස්ථාපිත කරන ලද විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයක ෙහෝ උසස් අධ්‍යාපන ආයතනයක ලියාපදිංචි වු ශිෂ්‍යෙයකු ෙලස සැළෙක්.
 ලියාපදිංචිය සිදුකිරීම සඳහා රු: 50/- ක මුදලක් අනේතරේජාලය හරහා ෙහෝ බැංකුෙවහි ඇති ෙගවීම් වවුචරය (Paying in voucher) භාවිත කරමිනේ ලංකා බැංකුෙවේ
ෙටොරිනේටනේ ශාඛාෙවේ ඇති විශ්වවිද්‍යාල ප්‍රතිපාදන ෙකොමිෂනේ සභාෙවේ රැස්කිරීම් ගිණුම් අංක 0002323287 ට බැර කර අනේතරේජාලය හරහා ඔබෙගේ ලියාපදිංචිය
සම්පූරේණ කර, ඉනේ ලැෙබන මුද්‍රිත පිටපත නිසි පරිදි අත්සනේ කර, කාරේයාලයීය ප්‍රෙයෝජනය පිණිස මුදලේ ෙගවූ බවට ලිඛිත සාක්ෂිද සමඟ [බැංකුවට මුදලේ ෙගවූෙයේ

ෙපෙදස, ෙකොළඹ 07 යන ලිපිනයට ෙයොමු කළ යුතුය. ඔබ බැංකුවට මුදලේ ෙගවනේෙනේ නම්, බැංකුෙවහි ඒ සඳහා ඇති විෙශේෂ ෙගවීම් කවුනේටරය (portal) පමණක්

Academic Year 2021/2022

The conditions governing your university admission are as follows:

1. Your selection for university admission will be invalid:

(a) If you have sat for the G.C.E. (Advanced Level) Examination on more than three occasions inclusive of the occasion pertaining to your present
selection for university admission. Or
(b) If you were/are registered as an internal student to follow a first-degree course in a state university/higher educational institute mentioned in the
section 2 below subject to conditions stipulated therein, Or
(c) If you have made a false declaration or produced forged documents for application and registration for university admission.

Note : If the information provided by you along with the application for university admission or at the registration found to be false or
inaccurate after your admission, please note that actions will be taken to dismiss you from the university/ higher educational institute.

2. The attention of every student who wishes to register at a university for the Academic Year 2021/2022 is drawn to the following matters: -
(a) Students who were/are registered as internal students to follow a course of study in a state university/ higher educational institute established
under the Universities Act No. 16 of 1978 (as amended), Students who were/are registered under free education as internal students to follow
first degree courses in state universities / higher educational institutes establish under any other Act of Parliament in Sri Lanka other than the
Universities Act No:16 of 1978 (as amended), students who were/are registered in a College of Education as internal students, Students who
were/are registered under free education as internal students to follow a diploma programme of three (03) year duration in a University College
under the University of Vocational Technology, Students who have accepted foreign scholarships channeled through the Ministry of Higher
Education to follow courses at first degree level and those who have already obtained a first degree or relevant qualification from a higher
educational institution in Sri Lanka are not eligible to gain admission to a state university/ higher educational institute established under the
Universities Act No. 16 of 1978 (as amended).
(b) I Students who were / are registered as full time students to follow a course of study of 03 year duration or above leading to a Higher National
Diploma (HND) at an Institution which comes under the Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technological Education (SLIATE) or National
Diploma in Engineering Sciences (NDES) at the Institute of Engineering Technology (IET) of the National Apprentice and Industrial
Training Authority (NAITA) are not eligible to gain admission to a state university/ higher educational institute established under the
Universities Act No. 16 of 1978 (as amended).
II However, a student who is already registered for a particular course of study at an Institution mentioned in section 2(b) I above
could apply for admission to follow a course of study in any University / Higher Educational Institution established under the
Universities Act No. 16 of 1978 (as amended) on the basis of the results of a G.C.E. (A/L) Examination held in a later year, only if
he/she had withdrawn his/her registration within a period of 60 days from the last date given for registration. This concession will
not be given to candidates who will get selected to fill a vacancy at the Higher Educational Institutions mentioned in section 2(b) I
above.
III Candidates who have not withdrawn their registration within the above stipulated period of time will not be eligible to apply for
university admission to follow a course of study in a university/ higher educational institute established under the Universities Act
No: 16 of 1978 (as amended), on the basis of the results of a G.C.E. (A/L) Examination held in a later year, as they come under 2(b) I
above.
(c) No student who is enrolled as a full-time student at any other Institution [other than 2 (a) and 2 (b) I above] will be permitted to register for a
course of study in a University/Higher Educational Institution unless he/she produces from that Institution, a letter to the effect that he/she is no
more a student of such institution. Provided however, there is no objection to any student of a University following a part-time course of study at
any other institution after having obtained permission from the Head of that Higher Educational Institution.
(d) Please note that if you get registered at the University Grants Commission to follow a course of study of a university selected for the
academic year 2021/2022 you will not be eligible for university admission based on the results of a subsequent G.C.E. (A/L)
Examination.

3. If you wish to make an appeal with regard to your admission or obtain a postponement for your admission, you may take actions according to the
instructions stipulated in the Sections 4.4 and 4.6 respectively of the University Admissions Handbook titled "Admission to Undergraduate Courses of
the Universities in Sri Lanka – Academic Year 2021/2022 " which has already been purchased by you to apply for university admission.

4. Mahapola Higher Educational Scholarships: An Application Form for a Mahapola Scholarship is annexed hereto. If you wish to be considered for a
Mahapola Scholarship, print this Mahapola form in A4 sized papers on both sides, complete this form and hand it over to the Grama Seva Niladhari of
your area to be transmitted to the University Grants Commission. If you wish to be considered for a Mahapola Scholarship either under Normal
or Merit category, it is essential to submit the Mahapola Application form to the University Grants Commission (UGC). You should ensure
that this form is sent to the UGC on or before the due date specified in the application form. Instructions to fill the Mahapola Application are given
at the end of the Mahapola Application. Applications that are not duly completed will be rejected. Application forms for Bursaries will be issued by
the respective universities.
5. In addition, at the end of the online registration, you are required to download and print in an A4 paper (both side) the “Anti-Ragging
Declaration made by the student”. It is compulsory to submit to submit the duly filled and signed declarations to the university at the time of
enroll. Please do not send this Declaration to the University Grants Commission through the post.
6. Registration to the selected course of study of a university/campus/institute
Please note that it is compulsory to get registered for the selected course of study of a university Online. (Instructions to register online are
given in Annex II)

Note: Once the candidate, upon online downloading the letter of selection from the UGC, having made the payment of Rs. 50/= in credit of the UGC, to the
bank or online and registers online via the official website of the UGC for the selected course of study of the University/Higher Educational Institute
to which he/she has been assigned, on or before the given deadline for registration, he/she is deemed as a registered student at a University/Higher
Educational Institution, established under the Universities Act No 16 of 1978 (as amended).
 In order to register, please pay an amount of Rs: 50/- online or to the credit of the UGC Collection Account No: 0002323287 at the Torrington Branch
of the Bank of Ceylon by filling the paying in voucher at the bank, and complete the registration online and send the duly signed Online Payment
Receipt to UGC along with the evidence of required payment [copy of the paying in voucher if paid to the bank] via registered post to reach Deputy
Secretary/University Admissions, University Grants Commission, No:20, Ward Place, Colombo 07 for official purposes. If you are making the
payment to the bank, you must only use the special portal assigned for that purpose. Also, write the Reference Number given in your letter of selection
in the Ref. No. section of the paying in voucher and inform the cashier to include that reference number into the system, with reference to your
payment.

Very Important: If you are not getting registered to a selected course of study of a university, you will not then be considered for any other
university to follow the same course of study, under filling of vacancies even if you have given higher preferences for the
same course of study in different universities in the application form for university admission. Instead, your application will
be considered for the next course of study preferred.

However, if you wish your application to be considered for a higher preferred university than the currently selected
university to follow the same course of study under filling of vacancies, first you should get registered at the UGC for the
course of study of the university already selected. Otherwise, your application will no longer be considered for any of the
higher preferred universities to follow the same course of study (As per the Section 3.2 of the University Admissions
Handbook valid for the academic year 2021/2022).

1. ඔබ ෙත්රී පත්වූ පාඨමාලාෙවේ හා විශ්වවිද්‍යාලෙයේ ලියාපදිංචිවීම සඳහා අනේතරේජාලය හරහා ලියාපදිංචිවීෙම් පදේධතියට ෙයොමු වීමට විශ්වවිද්‍යාල ප්‍රතිපාදන
ෙකොමිෂනේ සභාෙවේ නිල ෙවබේ අඩවිෙයහි (www.ugc.ac.lk) “Online Registrations” ෙකොටුෙවහි ඇති "To directly proceed to registration" දිගුව
“click” කරනේන. එෙසේත් ෙනොමැතිව, ඔබ දැනටමත් ෙත්රීම් ලිපිය බාගත කරගත් “Selection Letters” පිටුෙවහි සිටිනේෙනේ නම්, අනේතරේජාලය හරහා
ලියාපදිංචිවීෙම් පදේධතියට ෙයොමු වීමට එම පිටුෙවහි ඇති “Click here to go to the Registration System” ෙබොත්තම ඔබනේන.
2. “Registration of students for courses of study of universities” පිටුෙවහි ඇති වැදගත් යනුෙවනේ හැඳිනේෙවන නිෙවේදනය ෙහොඳිනේ කියවා ෙත්රුම් ෙගන
ලියාපදිංචිය සඳහා ෙයොමු වීමට "Continue" ෙබොත්තම ඔබනේන.
3. දැනේ ඔබව “Registration of students for courses of study of universities-Academic Year 2021/2022” පිටුවට ෙයොමු ෙකෙරනු ඇත.
4. එහි විභාග අංකය ෙකොටුෙවහි ඔබෙගේ නිවැරදි විභාග අංකය ඇතුළත් කර, උසස් ෙපළ වරේෂය පතන ෙමනුෙවනේ ඔබෙගේ අ.ෙපො.ස. (උසස් ෙපළ) විභාගෙයේ
වරේෂය ෙතෝරා එම ෙප්ලිෙයේ දකුණු පසිනේ ඇති “Search” ෙබොත්තම ඔබනේන.
5. දැනේ ෙයොමු අංකය ෙකොටුව සක්‍රීය වනු ඇත. එහි, ඔබෙගේ ෙත්රීම් ලිපිෙයේ සඳහනේ ෙයොමු අංකය නිවැරදිව ඇතුළත් කර ඒහා දකුණු පසිනේ ඇති “Search”
ෙබොත්තම ඔබනේන.
6. ස්වයංක්‍රීයව සම්පූරේණවන ඔබෙගේ ෙපෞදේගලික ෙතොරතුරු සහ විශ්වවිද්‍යාල ෙත්රී පත්වීමට අදාළ ෙතොරතුරු නිවැරදිදැයි පරීක්ෂා කරනේන.
7. ඔබව සම්බනේධ කරගත හැකි දුරකතන අංක සහ නිවැරදි ඊෙම්ලේ ලිපිනයක් ඇතුළත් කරනේන. ඔබ විසිනේ ලබාෙදන ඊෙම්ලේ ලිපිනය 2021/2022 අධ්‍යයන
වරේෂය සඳහා අනේ කිසිෙවකු විසිනේ ෙත්රී පත්වූ පාඨමාලාෙවේ හා විශ්වවිද්‍යාලෙයේ ලියාපදිංචිවීම සඳහා භාවිත ෙනොකරන ඊෙම්ලේ ලිපිනයක් විය යුතුය.
8. තමා දැනටමත් ෙත්රී ඇති පාඨමාලාවට සහ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයට (Uni-code) වඩා ඉහළ මනාපයක් ෙලස සිය අයදුම්පෙතහි දක්වා ඇති සියලු / ඇතැම්
පාඨමාලා සහ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයනේහි (Uni-codes) ඉදිරිෙයේදී ඇතිවන පුරප්පාඩු සඳහා පුරප්පාඩු පිරවීම යටෙත් තමනේව සළකා බැලීමට අවශ්‍ය ෙනොවනේෙනේ
නම් සහ/ෙහෝ ඉහළ මනාපයක් දක්වන ලද කිසිඳු පාඨමාලාවකට ෙහෝ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයකට ෙත්රී පත් ෙනොවී දැනට ෙත්රී සිටින පාඨමාලාෙවේ සහ
විශ්වවිද්‍යාලෙයහිම (Uni-code) රැඳී සිටීමට කැමැත්ත දක්වනේෙනේ නම් පහත පියවර අනුගමනය කරනේන. (ෙමම පියවරයනේ 2021/2022 අධ්‍යයන වරේෂයට
අදාළ විශ්වවිද්‍යාල ප්‍රෙවේශ අත්ෙපොෙතහි 4.2.2 ෙජේදෙයහිද දක්වා ඇත).

අ. "Promotion Declaration" ෙබොත්තම ඔබනේන.

ආ. දැනේ, ඔබ විසිනේ දැනට ෙත්රී සිටින පාඨමාලාවට සහ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයට වඩා ඉහළ මනාපයක් සඳහනේ කරන ලද " Uni-codes " අනුපිළිෙවල
දැක්ෙවන ලැයිස්තුව දිස්ෙවනු ඇත.
ඇ. ඔබ විසිනේ දැනට ෙත්රී සිටින පාඨමාලාවට සහ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයට වඩා ඉහළ මනාපයක් සඳහනේ කර ඇති ෙක්තයනේ (Uni-codes) අතුරිනේ තමාව
ඉදිරි පුරප්පාඩු පිරවීෙම් වටයනේහිදී සළකා බැලීමට අවශ්‍ය ෙනොවනේනා වූ “Uni-codes” සැළකිලේෙලනේ ෙතෝරා ගනේන. අදාළ ෙකොටුවල “”

ෙනොවනේෙනේ යැයි සඳහනේ කළ “Uni-codes” දත්ත ගබඩාෙවනේ ඉවත් කරනේන. ඔබ “REMOVE SELECTED HIGHER PREFERENECES”
ෙබොත්තම එබූ පසු එම පිටුව ඉවත් ෙනොවන අතර ඒ ෙවනුවට දත්ත ගබඩාව යාවත්කාලීන වීම පමණක් සිදුෙවේ. දැනේ “Back” ෙබොත්තම ඔබා ෙපර

සම්පූරේණ කිරීෙම්දී ලැෙබන මුද්‍රිත පිටපෙතහිද “Online Payment Receipt” සඳහනේ වනු ඇත).
ඉ. ඔබ විසිනේ එෙසේ ඉවත්කිරීම සඳහා ෙතෝරාගත් “Uni-codes” ලැයිස්තුව නැවතත් ෙවනස් කිරීමට අවශ්‍ය නම් ඉහත (අ) සිට (ඈ) දක්වා ඇති
උපෙදස් නැවත අනුගමනය කරනේන.
ඊ. ඔබ විසිනේ ඉදිරි පුරප්පාඩු පිරවීෙම් වටයනේහිදී සළකා ෙනොබැලිය යුතු පාඨමාලා සහ විශ්වවිද්‍යාල (Uni-codes) ඉහත සඳහනේ කළ පරිදි ඔබෙගේ
“Uni-codes” ලැයිස්තුෙවනේ ඉවත් ෙනොකලෙහොත් තමනේ විසිනේ ඉහළ මනාපයක් ෙලස දක්වා ඇති පාඨමාලාවක සහ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයක (Uni-
code) පවතින පුරප්පාඩුවක් සඳහා ඉදිරි පුරප්පාඩු පිරවීෙම් වටයකදී ඔබව ෙතෝරා ගතෙහොත් අනිවාරේයයෙයනේම එම ෙත්රීම භාරෙගන ඒ සඳහා
ලියාපදිංචි විය යුතුය.
9. දැනේ නවකවදය පිටු දැකීම සඳහා වූ ශිෂ්‍යයාෙගේ ප්‍රකාශනය කියවා බලා එයට එකඟ වනේෙනේදැයි සඳහනේ කරනේන.
10. ඔබ මුදලේ ෙගවීෙම් කාඩේ පතක් මඟිනේ අදාළ මුදල ෙගවනේෙනේ නම්, “Pay by Credit Card” ෙබොත්තම ඔබනේන. නැතෙහොත්, ඔබ දැනටමත් බැංකුවට අදාළ
මුදල ෙගවා ඇත්නම්, “Paid to Bank” ෙබොත්තම ඔබනේන.

සැළකිය යුතුයි: ඔබ බැංකුවට මුදලේ ෙගවනේෙනේ නම්, බැංකුෙවහි ඒ සඳහා ඇති විෙශේෂ ෙගවීම් කවුනේටරය (portal) පමණක් භාවිත කළ යුතුය. තවද,
ඔබෙගේ ෙත්රීම් ලිපිෙයහි සඳහනේ ෙයොමු අංකය ෙගවීම් වවුචරෙයේ “Ref. No.”ෙකොටෙසහි සඳහනේ කර එම ෙයොමු අංකය ඔබෙගේ ෙගවීමට
අදාළව පදේධතිය තුළට ඇතුළත් කරන ෙලසද මුදලේ අයකැමිට දැනුම් දිය යුතුය.

ඔබ “Pay by Credit Card” ෙබොත්තම භාවිත කෙලේ නම්;

සැළකිය යුතුයි: ෙම් සඳහා වලංගු “ Credit Card” පතක් පමණක් භාවිත කරනේන.
i. දැනේ ඔබට “UGC Secure Payment” පිටුව දිස්වනු ඇත.
ii. එහි, ඔබෙගේ කාඩේපතට අදාළ ෙතොරතුරු හා අදාළ අෙනකුත් ෙතොරතුරු ඇතුළත් කර, “Pay Now” ෙබොත්තම භාවිත කරනේන.
iii. ෙමම අවස්ථාෙවේදී ඇතැම් බැංකු විසිනේ කාඩේපත් හිමියාෙගේ ජංගම දුරකතනය ෙවත OTP ෙක්තයක් ෙයොමු කර එම ෙක්තය ඇතුළත් කරන ෙමනේ
ඉලේලනු ඇත. එවිට, එම ලබාෙදන පිටුවට OTP ෙක්තය ඇතුළත් කර ඊළඟ පිටුවට ෙයොමු ෙවනේන.
iv. දැනේ අනේතරේජාලය හරහා මුදලේ ෙගවූ රිසිට්පත (Online Payment Receipt) බාගත කරගැනීම සඳහා “Please click here to download the online
payment receipt” හි සඳහනේ “Download” ෙබොත්තම භාවිත කරනේන. අනේතරේජාලය හරහා මුදලේ ෙගවූ රිසිට්පෙතහි පිටපතක් ඔබ විසිනේ ලබාදුනේ
ඊෙම්ලේ ලිපිනයටද ෙයොමු ෙකෙරනු ඇත.
v. දැනේ නවක වදය පිටුදැකීම සඳහා වූ ශිෂ්‍යාෙගේ/ශිෂ්‍යාවෙගේ ප්‍රකාශය බාගත කර ගැනීම සඳහා “Please click here to download the Anti Ragging
Declaration” හි සඳහනේ “Download” ෙබොත්තම භාවිත කරනේන.
vi. කාරේයාලයීය ප්‍රෙයෝජනය පිණිස ෙමම මුදලේ ෙගවූ රිසිට්පත පමනක් නිසි පරිදි අත්සනේකර ලියාපදිංචි තැපෑෙලනේ නිෙයෝජ්‍ය ෙලේකම්/විශ්වවිද්‍යාල
ප්‍රෙවේශ, විශ්වවිද්‍යාල ප්‍රතිපාදන ෙකොමිෂනේ සභාව, අංක 20, ෙවෝඩේ ෙපෙදස, ෙකොළඹ 07 යන ලිපිනයට ෙයොමු කළ යුතුය.
ඔබ “Paid to Bank” ෙබොත්තම භාවිත කෙලේ නම්;
i. බැංකුෙවනේ නිකුත් කරන ලද ෙගවීම් වවුචරෙයේ පිටපෙතහි ස්කෑනේ කරන ලද/ඡායාරූප ගත කළ පිටපතක් සූදානම් කර ගනේන(ප්‍රමාණය 1MBට වඩා
වැඩි ෙනොවිය යුතුය).
ii. මීලඟ පිටුෙවේදී බැංකුව විසිනේ නිකුත් කරන ලද ෙගවීම් වවුචරෙයේ ස්කෑනේ කළ/ඡායාරූප ගත කළ පිටපත එම ෙකොටුෙවහි ඇති ( ) සළකුණ
භාවිතෙයනේ ෙතෝරා ෙගන “Upload” ෙබොත්තම ඔබනේන.
iii. දැනේ එම කුවිතානේසිෙයහි ෙතොරතුරු වන කුවිතානේසි අංකය,බැංකුව, ෙගවීම් කල බැංකු ශාඛාව හා කුවිතානේසිෙයේ සඳහනේ පරිදි මුදලේ ෙගවූ දිනය සහ
ෙවේලාව ඇතුළත් කර “Submit” ෙබොත්තම ඔබනේන.
iv. දැනේ අනේතරේජාලය හරහා මුදලේ ෙගවූ රිසිට්පත (Online Payment Receipt) බාගත කරගැනීම සඳහා “Please click here to download the online
payment receipt” හි සඳහනේ “Download” ෙබොත්තම භාවිත කරනේන. අනේතරේජාලය හරහා මුදලේ ෙගවූ රිසිට්පෙතහි පිටපතක් ඔබ විසිනේ ලබාදුනේ
ඊෙම්ලේ ලිපිනයටද ෙයොමු ෙකෙරනු ඇත.

සැළකිය යුතුයි : මීට අමතරව,

අනේතරේජාලය හරහා ලියාපදිංචිය අවසානෙයේදී බාගත කරගත් නවකවදය පිටුදැකීම සඳහා වූ ශිෂ්‍යාෙගේ/ශිෂ්‍යාවෙගේ ප්‍රකාශය A4 ප්‍රමාණෙයේ ෙකොළයක
ෙදපැත්ෙත්ම මුද්‍රණය කර එය නිසි පරිදි පුරවා අත්සනේ කර විශ්වවිද්‍යාලට ඇතුලත් වීෙම්දී අනිවාරේෙයනේම රැෙගන යා යුතුය. මුද්‍රිත පිටපත තැපෑෙලනේ

Instructions to register online for the selected course of study and the university
Academic year 2021/2022

1. To proceed to the online registration system to get registered for the course of study of the university selected, click on the To directly
proceed to registration link given in the Online Registrations box on the official website of the UGC (www.ugc.ac.lk). Else if you are
already in the Selection Letters page from which you downloaded the letter of selection, press the Click here to go to the Registration
System button therein to proceed to the online registration system.
2. Read and understand the notice named Important in the Registration of students for courses of study of universities page and press
Continue button to proceed to registration.
3. You will now be directed to the Registration of students for courses of study of universities-Academic Year 2021/2022 page.
4. In the Index No cage, enter your A/L index number correctly, select the year of your Advanced Level Examination from the A/L Year
drop down menu and click on the Search button in the right side of that row.
5. Now the Reference No. cage will be activated. Enter the Reference Number given in your Selection letter correctly and click on the
Search button in the right side of that row.
6. Make sure the personal details and the details about the university selection automatically filled in are correct.
7. Enter your contact numbers and a valid e-mail address. The e-mail address should be a unique e-mail address which has not been used by
anyone else to register for the selected course of study of a university for the academic year 2021/2022.
8. If you do not want to be considered in future rounds of filling of vacancies for all/some of the courses of study of universities (Uni-
Codes) to which you have given higher preferences than the already selected course of study of the university (Uni-Code) in the
application form for university admission and/or wish to be remained in the course of study of the university (Uni-Code) already selected
without getting promoted to any of the higher preferred courses of study of the universities (Uni-Codes), you may follow the following
steps. (These steps are also given in the paragraph 4.2.2 of the University Admissions Handbook valid for the academic year 2021/2022)
a. Click on the Promotion Declaration button.
b. Now the list of higher preferred Uni-Codes than the currently selected course of study of the university, arranged according to
your order of preference will be displayed.
c. Carefully select the Uni-Codes for which you do not want to be considered under future rounds of filling of vacancies for
which you have given higher preferences than the already selected Uni-Code (put a “” mark in relevant check boxes).
However, if you do not want to be considered for any of the courses of study of universities (Uni-Codes) in future for which
you have given higher preferences and wish to remain in the already selected course of study of university, you may click on
the check box in the last column of the header row to select all the Uni-Codes in one go. The Uni-Codes selected by you for
removal will be crossed off.
d. Then, click on the REMOVE SELECTED HIGHER PREFERENECES button to remove your unwanted Uni-Codes from the
database. When you click on the REMOVE SELECTED HIGHER PREFERENECES button, the window will not get closed,
instead your database will be updated. Now click on the Back button to go back to the previous page. (The Uni-Codes which
you have been selected as unwanted Uni-Codes for filling of vacancies will also be displayed in the Online Payment Receipt
generated at the end of the online registration process).
e. If you want to re-change the Uni-Codes list which you have selected for removal, you can re-follow the steps (a) to (d) above.
f. If you fail to remove the courses of study of universities (Uni-Codes) for which you do not want to be considered in
future rounds of filling of vacancies, you should accept and get registered for the course of study of a university to
which you would be elevated according to the higher preferences indicated in the application form for admission.
9. Now read the “Anti-Ragging Declaration made by the student” and indicate your agreement to the same.
10. If you are making the payment by using a card, click on the Pay by Credit Card button. Else if you have already made the payment to the
bank, click on the Paid to Bank button.

Note: If you are making the payment to the bank, you must only use the special portal assigned for that purpose. Also, write
the Reference Number given in your letter of selection in the Ref. No. section of the paying in voucher and inform the
cashier to include that reference number into the system, with reference to your payment.

If you have clicked on the Pay by Credit Card button;

Note: You can only use a valid Credit Card for this purpose.

1. You will now be displayed the UGC Secure Payment page.

2. Enter your card details and other details as requested therein and click on the Pay Now button.

Part I (For Grama Niladhari)
1. You are required to check the details given by the applicant regarding his brothers and sisters in cage 2 and also
requested to compare against the certified copies of relavent birth certificates attached with the applications.
2. You are required to carefully check the details given in section 3 and 4 regarding the income from houses and property
against the approximate income of the candidate from above.
3. If the applicant is employed, his/ her information given in section 5 should be checked.
4. You are also required to certify the annual income of the parents guardian of applicant as given in sections 7, 8 and 10
(From January 2021 to December 2021)
5. In addition, you should certify the applicant’s declaration by placing your signature and official seal.
6. Application certified by Grama Niladhari should then be forwarded to the Divisional Secretariat (D.S.) of that area after
issuing the acknowledgement receipt appended to application to the applicant. Application should not be handed over
to the applicant under any circumstances.
Part II(For Divisional Secretary)
(a) The D.S. having certified the signature of the Grama Niladhari and after issuing the acknowledgement receipt appended,
to the Grama Niladhari, should forward the application to the following address under registered cover, so as to reach on
or before the date given on the front page. Applicant will hand over an envelope of 35cm x 24.5 cm in size with

Instructions for applicants to fill the Mahapola Scholarship Application form

Academic Year 2021/2022
All questions included in the application should be read carefully and answered in full.

1. If you wish to be considered for a Mahapola Scholarship (Normal or Merit) it is required to submit the Mahapola Application form to the
University Grants Commission. If you are not getting registered for the course of study and the university selected under normal intake and
willing to get registered to a course of study and a university under filling of vacancies, you will still be considered for Mahapola Scholarships.
Annual income is considered for normal Scholarships but annual income will not be considered for Merit scholarships. However, you should
have submitted the Mahapola application form before the deadline to the University Grants Commission, for that purpose.

2. Clearly write your full name in this form as mentioned in the university admissions application. If there are any changes, please submit
documentary evidences to prove that together with an affidavit for the change of your name. (Affirmant has to place his / her signature on
Rs.50/- stamp pasted on the affidavit )
3. If you have any school going brothers or sisters who are 19 years or below, you should attach the certified copies of the birth certificates of them.
4. If you have any brothers or sisters following courses of study in a Higher Educational Institute, who are not in receipt of a Mahapola Scholarship
or a Bursary, attach the original letter issued by the respective Higher Educational Institute certifying that your brother / sister is not in receipt of
a Mahapola Scholarship or a Bursary .
5. You should attach an Income Assessment Report to prove the income from estates, fields, lands, income from houses rented or leased etc, or if
your father/ mother/guardian is an entrepreneur/ self-employed, you should attach an Income Assessment Report issued by the Divisional
Secretariat of your area(Period of 12 months from January 2021 to December 2021).
Salary particulars of your father/ mother/guardian including the basic and all allowances separately, regarding the Gross Annual Income from
the occupation certified by the respective employer (Original) should be attached and If there are no allowances, then it should be mentioned in
the salary sheet. If retired, then attach a certified Gross pension report of your father/ mother/guardian including the basic pension and all the
allowances separately (Period of 12 months from January 2021 to December 2021).
If your father’s/ mother’s/guardian’s service has been terminated or he/ she has retired during the income assessment period (i.e. from January
2021 to December 2021) you should clearly state such period and attach certified copies of documents (pension award letter or employment
termination letter) issued by the relevant authorities.
Particulars regarding sources of income and all other information should be stated in full. Particulars of income furnished by you, will be checked
with relevant Grama Niladhari officers and the Divisional Secretariat.
6. If you are under the custody of a legal guardian, you should furnish certified copies of documents issued by a court of law to that effect. If not,
submit atleast two documents; a Police Report, Grama Niladhari certificate or an affidavit with the duration.
7. If your parents are separated, you should submit copies of legal documents issued by a court of law to that effect. if not, submit a Police Report
together with Grama Niladhari certificate should be attached regarding the separation with time duration.
8. No cage should be left blank or with lines drawn across. If you have nothing to state, it should also be stated. Incomplete applications,
applications that do not reach the University Grants Commission before the closing date, applications that do not accompany the salary
particulars, income reports, other relevant documents and the attachments or applications that are not channelled through Grama
Niladhari and Divisional Secretary will be rejected.
9. If the University authorities are convinced that the information given by you are incorrect, you should note that you could either legally
be punished or your internal studentship will be cancelled or this application for Mahapola Scholarships will be rejected.
10. This application should be duly perfected and handed over to Grama Niladhari so as to reach the University Grants Commission on or before the
date given on the front page. The Grama Niladhari will forward the application to the Divisional Secretary as specified in cage 13. As the
application has to be returned by registered post, an envelope of 35cm x 24.5cm in size with stamps to the appropriate value pasted should be
handed over to the Grama Niladhari along with the application. The words “Mahapola Application” should be indicated on the top left hand
corner of the envelope. Certified application should not be handed over to the University Grants Commission personally under any
circumstances.
Very Important: Place all the documents sent along with the application between page 4 and 5 of the application form.
