Mathematics can rightly be called the queen of sciences, which can be loved
and hated in equal measure. If you think about it seriously, we use mathematics
knowledge every day. We come across numbers everywhere - on the dial of a watch,
on banknotes, in the lesson schedule. Mathematics allows us to find out how much
bigger, longer, wider, or more expensive something is than another. Without
knowledge of mathematics it is impossible to build a house or a car. If it weren't for
mathematics, we would never have had computers, tablets or smartphones. All other
sciences in the world use mathematical calculations.
Mathematical applications will make our life easier. With the advent of math
learning apps, learning how to handle equations or solve problems has become much
easier and more interesting.
Using the appropriate programs, you can photograph an example and get a
ready-made solution. Derivatives, trigonometry, logarithms... a simple app can handle
it all with the click of a button.
Photomath - one of the most famous apps for solving math problems, has
been called a horror for math teachers from day one. And the developers simply call
it a “calculator camera.” Photomath is interesting because it can solve almost any
mathematical problem. The application not only solves mathematical problems, but
describes in detail the progress of calculations. This will appeal not only to students,
but also to parents who want to check their child’s homework.
Malmath: with this application you will be able to solve mathematical
problems not only by receiving a step-by-step description of the calculation process,
but also by constructing the necessary graphs. The MalMath Android app itself is
completely free and contains absolutely no advertising. You also have the option to
use it without an Internet connection. This is a big plus for him. The program will
primarily appeal to high school students, college students, as well as universities and
academies. The fact is that MalMath can solve integrals, derivatives, limits,
logarithms, trigonometric equations and inequalities, examples with roots and
moduli. However, you will have to manually enter the task condition, since the
recognition function using the camera is not provided here. But what you will be
most interested in is the “task generator” function. With its help, you can create
random math problems with several categories and difficulty levels specified in the
settings. All expressions and graphics can be saved as favorites.
Euclidea: Another application with puzzles, but this time geometric: here the
user needs to complete the shapes using a ready-made set of tools. For example, you
can connect two points with straight lines, draw a circle, or draw a perpendicular: the
higher the complexity, the more tools. To get the highest score, you need to complete
the task in the minimum number of moves.Each level is accompanied by a brief
reference that will help refresh your memory of the definitions and properties of
geometric shapes.
GeoGebra-is a free, cross-platform, dynamic math program for all levels of
education, including geometry, algebra, tables, graphs, statistics and arithmetic, all in
one package.The program provides the ability to work with functions using the
commands of the built-in language.The program was written by Markus Hohenwarter
in Java and runs on a large number of operating systems. Translated into 39
languages and currently under active development.
MathType-is a tool for typing equations and formulas at a professional
level. Used for appropriate documentation. Compatible with text editors, Word, data
processing programs for printing standards or for presentation purposes. To get a
program for writing formulas at your disposal, just download the latest version of
MatType in Russian.
From my point of view, GeoGebra is the most necessary and easy-to-use
application. GeoGebra allows you to work with various objects, for example, tables,
graphs, algebraic equations, geometric figures, arithmetic and statistical data. You
will also find additional functions that allow you to operate with integrals, roots,
graphs and much more. For ease of use, they are all included in one package.
With GeoGebra you can easily graph functions. With Geogebra you can work in two
or three dimensions.
Advantages:
Availability of Russian language;
Many functions for working with mathematical equations;
Availability of functionality for working with graphics;
Personal community;
Supported by almost all operating systems: Windows, OS X, Linux, Android and
iOS.
Disadvantages:
The program is still being developed, so there are problems;
Most projects are published in English.
Research has shown that learning is easier when you're having fun. There are
many other useful games and applications to choose from. And there is always an
opportunity to save time by using such applications. But there is always a measure,
for example, for school tasks or for university, you should not use some applications,
sometimes it takes effort to understand at least one task .So always use everything
wisely.
