Once upon a time, in south America, lived a beautiful girl called eva.

As a child, Eva
dreamed of escaping her life of poverty by becoming a famous actress and film star.

When she was just fifteen year old, eva moved to the big city of Buenos Aires to pursue
her dream. With her talent, good looks, and determination, she soon became a celebrated
actress onstage and on the radio. But eva wanted more: she wanted to help people less
fortunate that herself.
One night, at a party, she met colonel Juan Peron, a powerful politician.
They fell in love and got married shortly after.
When Juan Peron was elected president of Argentina one year later, eva quickly became
know by her affectionate nickname: Evita. The people loved her passion and her
commitment to helping the poor. She fought hard for women’s rights and helped women
win their right to vote.

She became such a legendary figure that she was asked to run as vice president to help
govern a longside her husband. Although she was loved by the poor,many powerful
people feared her charisma and power “they just can’t deal with a young, successful
woman, “ she used to say.
After discovering she her husband win a second term as president. When she died, only a
few months later, the announcement came on national radio: “we have lost the spiritual
chief of our nation.”
