After companies act 2017, they came up
with a new policy, The 2017 code eliminated
CONCLUSION several sections, revised some already-
existing clauses, and added additional
requirements. Certain rules for the audit
committee and the composition of the board
of directors were incorporated in the code.
I think the new envisaged a broader
mandate for independent auditor because
this act outlines the importance of
independent auditors.
