Since President Duterte became the president of the Philippines, he has many plans on what he

will do in order to make a better country and as of 2020 he has many achievements and base
on my research this are some of Duterte's biggest achievements: The anti-illegal drugs
movement. Tokhang has resulted in some 7,000 drug lords and abusers being removed from
the face of the earth in just two years, with almost two out of three Filipinos claiming the
number of drug users in their region has been reduced. Also, one of his achivement is the Savvy
fiscal management. In spite of COVID-19, the Philippines obtained its best ever credit rating-
BBB+ in April 2020. In June 2020, with a stable outlook, the Japan Credit Rating Agency also
upgraded the Philippine rating to A. Significant or a reduction of poverty by 6.8 percentage
points from 23.5 percent of the population when Duterte began his presidency to 16.7 percent
by the end of 2019, equal to 6.1 million Filipinos rescued from poverty, described as earning
just $2 a day, thanks to three major tax reforms, the Rice Tariffication Law which abolished rice
monopolies and allowed imports that reduced rice prices. The January 2018 TRAIN or Tax
Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Legislation which exempted those earning no more than
P250,000 a year from heavy income taxes, the majority of low-income earners, thereby freeing
billions for consumption or savings; and the Universal Health Care Act, a socialist act copied by
countries such as Thailand but undermined by massive corruption in state health insurance.

For me, President Ferdinand Marcos is better than other President in the Philippines. Ferdinand
Marcos was a great president, with achievements that nobody even came close to matching.
This is the man who performed the Bar Exams with the highest score in Philippine history while
behind bars, convicted for murder in jail. There's nothing too hard for him to do. Based on my
research, the currency exchange was raised from P2:$1 to P27:$1, which is an increase of over
1300 percent in his time. We can now get P27 pesos for every dollar you have, instead of just
P2. In just 5 years, public debt rose from $8B to $24B. Since better is larger. Higher spending
means a higher deficit, which economists are well aware of as a boost to the economy. He
ended the evil Japanese encroachment of youth by banning Voltes V from television, believing
that Filipino children would be corrupted to become undesirable Japanese weaboos. With two
lost decades, an enduring legacy that no other president has come close to matching, ended his
presidency. For nearly two decades, the Philippines has been blanked out of the global arena.
Marcos was so powerful that he also had control over time. Many many unimaginable
contributions were made by Marcos to Philippine society. That's the hallmark of true creativity,
brilliance, grandeur. Nobody even came close to his accomplishments.
