GENERAL FORMATTING
Does my paper include a 1 inch margin around all boarders?

Did I choose a font size and type that follows APA guidelines?

Did I set my line spacing to doubled spaced?

Did I check the box "Don't add space between paragraphs of the same style?"

Is there a page number in the top right hand corner of all pages?

TITLE PAGE SETUP


Is there roughly 4-5 spaces from the top of my page to where I begin the first element?

Are all elements on the title page centered?

Is my title a short, concise summary of my paper?

Is it bolded and does it use capital case lettering?

Example: Apple's Strategic Management Plan

Did I add an extra space between the title and naming element?

Does my name follow: First Name Middle Initial. Last Name formatting?

Did I include the department my degree is affiliated with followed by the university I'm

attending? Example: Department of Business, John F. Kennedy University

Did I include my course code followed by the name of my course?

Example: MKT 121: Business Marketing

Did I provide my professors title they way they prefer to be addressed by name?

Example(s): Dr. Keith Wade, Professor Levin, Mariam, Sherzai RN

Is the date included in the Month, Day, Year formatting of the country I live in?

Example (USA): June 14, 2021

MAIN BODY
Did I copy and paste the title of my paper as the first section heading in my

document, signifying the introduction?

Are each of my paragraphs indented inward 1/2 inch?

Does the main body follow the same double spaced formatting?

Have I used section headings to organize my paper throughout my document?

Have I paraphrased all material that I found elsewhere?

For material that is paraphrased, have I included an in-text citation?

If I used any direct quotes, did I follow the correct formatting?

Does my main body meet my paper/word count?

**Your title page and reference page doe not count towards page count, sorry**

REFERENCE LIST

Is the word "References" centered at the top of the page and bolded?

Do my reference list entries follow a hanging indent format?

(first line is flush left and each subsequent line is indented inward 1/2 inch)

Is my entire reference list double spaced?

Do all references contain these 4 elements: Author. (Date). Title. Source

If no, did I follow the correct guidelines for missing elements?

Did I provide the correct amount of references requested by the assignment?

MISCELLANEOUS

If my professor asked for an abstract or running head, did I include them?

If yes, did I follow the proper formatting guidelines for setting them up?

"Abstract" centered and bolded at the top of the page while the text follows a

long block text formatting, meaning the first line is not indented inward.

Abstract example: Abstract

Running head title page: Running Head: STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT

Running head all subsequent pages: STRATEGIC MANAGMENT
