Use 4-6 screws (20) to mount unit in a suitable place. Connect iniet port (30) to water-supply-pipe. Connect outlet ports (40) to lubricating systeminozzes. ‘Outlet no. 1 is the lower outlet pipe (Outlet no. 2is the upper outlet pipe. Remote control Itis possible to remote control the lubrication unit. It has to be connected as shown below. Connect the junction terminal as Follows: 1, 2.0n P2 for timer 1 3, 4 on P2 for timer 2. Because the input at P2 is connected in parallel to the on/off bo:tons of the main control system, the control buttons has to be turned off to make it possible to ‘operate the unit from the external cabinet. Adjust the pressure-reducing valve (50) unt manometer {60) shows 2 bar 2. Place level-controlsuction tube (80) in container with lubricant 3. Turn on the main power switch (10), The "power on" indcator lights up. 4, Select one ar both timers (20) oF (20). The relevant “timer on" indicator lights wp. 5, The unit is now operating. When a timer opens a valve or ether line 1 or 2, the pump starts. There is flow in a line when the relevant “flow timer” indicates it. Figure 13 Startup the wait. Open the bleed screw (130) and watch the bleed hose leading from the pump thsough the bottom ofthe unt. When the liquid, flowing from the bleed hase, is free from air bubbles, tighten the bled screw (130). Figure 14 Bleeding the pump, ‘Starting up a dry pump ‘When the pump is dry inside is valves it may only be able to suck up the ubricant slowly. If 0, star the TP25/85 and shake the suction unit as shown below. The bleeding screw must be ‘open. Shake fst (3-5 times pr. second). Shake for about 10 seconds and watch the lubricant ‘Coming up in the hose. Each line is set separately. It means that each line is turned ON for some seconds. The ON-time can be adjusted in tre interval 0-75 seconds. Then the line is turned OFF for some time. Unscrew the control panel to give access to the printed cicuit board inside the control box. 2. Adjust the timers. 3. The indicator lights for the flow timers will show the length of the on and off-periods. This is used when lubricating of 8 small conveyor system: If the conveyor always requires less than haif lubricator capacity, itis possible to double the pump frequency and raduce the output of the pump per stroke to half In this way the average concentration will be the same, but the mixing will be improved (more constant). Procedure to follow: ZA\, warning! Move the jumper to the left position to double the frequency. 2. Turn the adjustment knob of the pump to half of the previous setting. Check that the pump is working normally, if necessary bleed as described on page 12, ee Light indicates there is no water flow Check water pressure on manometer (60) If no flow, check the water supply. Check that the relevant magnetic valve is working when "flow tmer" indicator lights up. ‘The mixture is to0 lean. Check water pressure (2 bar) on manometer (60). Chack lubrleating system and spray nozzles for major leak. How to reset alarm for low level: Alarm for low lubricant level resets automatically when the level is increased. How to reset flow alarm: When the cause of an alarm has been corrected: 1. turn off the main power switch (10). 2! turn an the main power switch (10). ‘Alarms can also be showed by external lamps.
