Discussion 3

Hi everyone,

This was a challenging assignment but a fun one I'd say. There are a couple i didn't understand so I'm excited
for the answer key and more so for the explanation that'll come with it.

A4 Side View - Two faces are visible, and one is hidden.

B13 Top View - The top is one flat visual, but the inverted stair edges/treads are hidden.

C19 Front View - The front view is a flat ‘L’ but the smaller cube sits on top creating a hidden edge.

D2 Side View - The 2 levels form steps in the side view but the whole shape has been cut vertically to
form a hidden edge at the back

E - I didn’t quite understand this one. I tried a few side, top and front views. It didn’t
make sense to me. Nothing matched from the table below. Im sure im doing something wrong.

F15 Front View - From a front view the curve appears as a straight hidden line.

G24 Front View - Again in this front view, the edge formed by the cut semi circle is hidden.
H9 Side View - Here the Side view is a flat square but the hidden line is formed where the slope cuts.

I6 Front View - The edge of the cut triangle forms a hidden line.

J24 Side View - Here too, the cut slope forms a hidden edge when viewed from the side.

K19 Front View - Front view is views as an ‘L’ but a hidden line is present where the slopes cuts.

L11 Top View - Tope view shows a flat rectangle and then a small cube protruding from under. The cut
section underneath forms hidden lines.

M8 Front View - Front view shows a think “L” and where the second step cuts at the back, forms a hidden
line.

N - This one was the hardest one. I couldn’t figure this out. Especially because of that
protruding triangle from the side

O23 Side View - This one was the simplest, quarter of a circle which has been cut cube in the center, forming
a hidden line where the cut is

P7 Front View - From the front the cut slope is shown with the use of a diagonal like across the cube. The
hidden line represents the edge where there is step down at the back.

Q10 Front View - Front view shows a flat square, the diagonal hidden line shows the hidden slope at the back
