This graph serves as a reminder of all the building blocks across the architectural landscape.
In the example of Italy, for electronic document processing, a customer managed tenant of
SAP Integration suite is used to integrate the SAP S/4HANA Cloud system with the web
service provided by the Italian tax authorities. The service on the authorities' side is called SdI.
The interfaces can be divided into two parts:
● First, setting up the integration between the SAP S/4HANA Cloud systems, and SAP
business technology platform in the Cloud.
● Second, setting up the integration between the cloud integration and the SdI web service.

For the statutory reporting scenarios, only the integration from SAP S/4HANA Cloud to the
SAP managed Software as a service offering would be needed, the rest is managed by SAP.
