    This annual, highly commended course is essential for juniors interested
    in Orthopaedics. Interactive and led by highly experienced, nationally
    renowned faculty, attendees come away with an understanding of basic
    principles used to determine fracture management. Severn Ortho-themed
    CSTs are expected to attend, and external attendees are also very
    welcome. Topics include:
    - Bio-mechanical theory of bone fixation and healing
    - Case Based Discussion and application of the above
    - Plate fixation
    - Lag screws
    - Dynamic Hip Screw application
    - External Fixation
    £20 refundable deposit for Severn CSTs, £50 fee for other attendees
    Followed by an optional early dinner (not included in course cost)
