 TERM AND CONDITIONS
(For Industrial Area/Loc al Commerc ial Area/DSIDC Shed /Household Categ ories)
1. The Licensee shall permit the authorized officer to inspect the licensed premises (consequent upon to issue of Industrial Area/Local
Commercial Area/DSIDC Shed /Household Category License) under question at all reasonable times and without notice during the
tenure/validity of license.
2. The License shall be displayed at the factory premises prominently.
3. The licensee shall neither do nor permit any negligent act which is likely to cause fire or otherwise endanger the public safety in the
licensed premises.
4. The Licensee shall permit the authorized officer to inspect the licensed premises (consequent upon to issue of Industrial Area/Local
Commercial Area/DSIDC Shed /Household Category License) under question at all reasonable times and without notice during the
tenure/validity of license.
5. Whenever the licensed premises is vacated, the licensee shall inform the Factory Licensing Department, MCD and is liable to return/
surrender the license to Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Failure to do so shall make him ineligible for issue of license in future without
getting cleared all previous dues.
6. The licensee shall keep the premises neat & clean and will prevent accumulation of filth or refuse.
7. The license shall not be transferable from one premises to another nor from one person to another (except in death cases or transfer to
their legal heirs) nor from one establishment to another.
8. The licensee shall make separate storage arrangement’s for the raw material /finished goods.
9. The licensee shall ensure that no act is being done in the licensed premises which shall lead to danger to life or property, nuisance etc.
10. The licensee shall not encroach upon public land in any manner.
11. The licensee does not have any bearing or ownership and cannot be used for settlement of ownership dispute.
12. The licensee does not entitle for regularization of any unauthorized construction.
13. The license is subject to all terms and conditions in vogue at the time of grant of Factory License and also imposed from time to time. If it
is found that the activity is not permissible then licensee shall stands revoked without any further communication and MCD shall be not be
held responsible for the same.
14. The grant of license does not abdicate the license from responsibilities towards complying with the provisions of the DMC Act, 1957 (as
amended) or any other law for the time being in force or as amended from time to time.
15. The license shall not be allowed to run any trade which is prohibited by any Act/ Law/ Govt. orders / Directions from any Court of Law /
MPD-2021.
16. The license is liable to be cancelled if the trade / premises is found to be contrary to provisions of MPD-2021/ Delhi Special
Provisions Act, 2011 (as amended in 2017 and from time to time).

17. The license is issued as per Delhi Fire Service Rules, and DPCC Rules & Guidelines.
18. Household license is valid for day time activities at 08:00 AM to 06:00 PM only.
19. Household licensee should not employee any person in his factory who have not completed 14 years of age.
20. Household licensee is allowed to work to the extent of 50% of permissible floor area of the dwelling unit.
21. The license is liable to be cancelled in any case if any of the statement made in self declaration/undertaking is subsequently found
otherwise.
