Color Atlas of Cosmetic Dermatology

Over the past decade, we have witnessed the rapid evolution
of cosmetic dermatology, augmented by the advancements
in cosmetic techniques and instruments. The Color Atlas of
Cosmetic Dermatology is a comprehensive publication
that covers the latest knowledge and techniques in cosmetic
dermatology.
Unlike any conventional color atlas that contains only
photographs with legends, the Color Atlas of Cosmetic
Dermatology includes equal amounts of the figures and
relevant texts, making this book also a concise and reader-
friendly textbook. The chapters are arranged according to the
cosmetic disorders. In each chapter, the disorder is briefly
reviewed with an organized introduction to the epidemiology,
pathogenesis, dermatopathology, physical lesions, differential
diagnosis, laboratory examination, and course. The book also
provides explicit guidance for the attending clinicians, outlining
consultative questions, management, pearls for treatment
success, pitfalls to avoid, complications, and outcome expec-
tations. In addition, the cosmetic procedures employed are
clearly illustrated in a step-by-step manner.
This book does not only serve as a useful guide for the
clinicians; the pre- and post-treatment photographs are also
valuable references during patient consultations, helping
the explanations of the cosmetic procedures and outcomes.
This book shall be listed as an elemental gadget for the
cosmetic practices.
