Kapritso sa Udtong Tutok

The poem “Kapritso sa Udtong Tutok” was written by Jicel Reve S. Gabriel, a

 Parents as Partners in Children’s Education
In this article, parents are essential educational partners. Parents and teachers must create
chances for two-way dialogue, with learning as the primary goal. They shape their children’s
attitudes toward learning and encourage learning at home. They serve as an important link
between home and school.

In Tamiao Elementary School, Bantayan, a parent of three pupil shared her experiences
in supporting her children’s education. She said that participating in any school activities such as
painting walls, ceilings, and chairs can make her children happy. This is a good opportunity for
parents to inculcate good values in their children.

The response of parents to school activities varied based on the activity given and across
all school characteristics. The greatest consistent disparities were identified in poverty
concentration and minority enrolment in schools. The author also claim that when parents
participate in a variety of ways at school, the performance of all students improves. This article is
