o Cover throughout the world. Travel to the risk countries Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, North
Korea and Chechnya must be reported to AIG prior to travel
 Pre-Existing conditions
o For expatriates pre-existing conditions are covered and with no waiting period for new
expatriates. The maximum benefit for pre-existing conditions is EUR 8 000 per insured per
case/diagnosis while insured as part of this program. Pregnancy and Childbirth is unlimited.

o Single employee; 2 x annual salary, max Euro 400,000
o Employee with family; 4 x annual salary, max Euro 400,000

4 – Conditions

Special condition and Supplementary Definitions regarding 444-0006:

A. Global Program: The global program is for Group Plus Business Travel Insurance and may
include a master policy as well as local policies.
B. Master policy: The master policy for Group Plus Business Travel Insurance is issued to the
policyholder from Sweden by AIG.
C. Local policies: Local policies are primary insurance policies in effect on or after the
inception of this master policy, which have been arranged at the direction of AIG and
coordinated specifically for this global program pursuant to the schedule in Attachment 1.
D. DIC/DIL Coverage: Master policy coverage is provided on an excess and difference-in-
conditions (DIC/DIL) basis over local policies.
a. The master policy will provide indemnity where:
i. the terms and conditions under the master policy are broader than the terms
and conditions of the local policy in respect of claims which are not payable
under such local policy; and
ii. the Limit of Indemnity under this policy exceeds the amount of indemnity
payable under the local policies forming part of this global program
b. The DIC/DIL extension applies to the territories shown in the local policy schedule in
Attachment 1.
c. Any payment made under this clause will be in EUR. All payments under this clause will
be made to the policyholder in Sweden if payment is not possible to be made to the
insured person or beneficiary. The policyholder agrees to take full responsibility for
transferring the benefits to such insured person or beneficiary, if applicable.
E. Conformity With Local Laws: Any provision of this insurance which, on its effective date, is
in conflict with the laws of the jurisdiction in which this insurance applies is hereby amended to
confirm to the minimum requirements of those laws.
F. Economic Sanctions: The Insurer shall not be deemed to provide cover and the Insurer shall
not be liable to pay any claim or provide any benefit hereunder to the extent that the provision
of such cover, payment of such claim or provision of such benefit would expose the Insurer, its
parent company or its ultimate controlling entity to any sanction, prohibition or restriction
under United Nations resolutions or the trade or economic sanctions, laws or regulations of the
European Union or the United States of America.
G. Personal Accident, AD&D: Coverage for Personal Accident AD&D are included for all
countries in the program except USA and Canada.

Special condition and Supplementary Definitions regarding 444-0007:

Benefit A.1.1 and B.1.1: No time limitation. The insurance will cover costs as long as the expatriate is out on
assignment.
B.1.4: If there is an acute dental treatment, the insurance will cover up to maximum EUR 500, not limited
to number of treatments in the specific case.

Q. 1 Preventive healthcare reimbursements are limited to maximum EUR 500 annually per individual
insured per benefit listed in the terms and conditions. Maximum compensation are EUR 1 500 annually
per insured.

Surgery: All planned surgeries must be pre-approved by AIG

5 – Accumulation

Accumulation limits are MSEK 250 per occurrence any one mean of Transportation otherwise limited
to MSEK 500 per occurrence.

family members on trips according to the policy terms and conditions

During business travel both domestic and international trips and on holiday trips outside the country of
residence in conjunction with business travel outside the country of residence, according to the policy
terms and conditions

Where the insurance applies

The insurance provides cover throughout the world. Travel to the risk countries;
Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, North Korea and Chechnya must be reported to AIG prior to travel
