1. What is the role of Operating System?

Answer: The function of operating system is to manage all other applications and programs on
your computers, it control the process of input and output. This is one of the important things
that runs on our computer, in addition the Operating System control's the computer's memory.
2. What is the role of Virtual Memory?
Answer: A memory management that gives the appearance to an operating system's primary
memory of being bigger. It employs both hardware and software to enable a computer to
temporarily move data from random access memory (RAM) to disc storage in order to make up
for physical memory shortages. This makes it possible for programmes to function more
efficiently even when they need more memory than is really available.
3. In a multi-user operating system, are tasks processed on a first-come-first served basis?Why Or
why not?
Answer: For me the first-come-first served basis is good, because it improves the performance of
a software to access it easily that there is no problems you encounter and it helps computer to
become smoothly.
