Course Description: This course deals with the principles and techniques of nursing care management of
sick clients across the lifespan with emphasis on the adult and older person, population group, in any
setting with perioperative nursing, alterations/ problems in oxygenation, fluid and electrolyte balance,
nutrition, metabolism and endocrine functions. The learners are expected to provide nursing care to at
risk and sick adult clients utilizing the nursing process.
