customers with useful answers to many questions in
the field of joining technology.

The 133-page new edition of its "Manual of fastening

Technology" demonstrates interrelationships between
products and their mechanical properties and supports
customers in the design, securing and assembly of fasteners.

The book also provides detailed information on the

importance and use of fasteners. For example, given the
number of potential strength classes, surface treatments,
 chemical coatings, lubricants, functional features, half-dog
points, tool certificates, colour variants, supplier specifications,
packaging types, standards, dimensions, length gradations and
thread types available, it estimates a total potential of more
than 15 trillion potential combinations.
