Tutorial: How to do a painting canvas

Materials

To be able to do this canvas, you will need a

canvas, water, and paintbrushes. You will
also need these paint colors: blue, white,
yellow, purple, black, gray and orange.

Step 1:

The first thing we must do is the sky. For the sky, you will need blue, yellow, orange, and
purple. At the top of your canvas, you'll start by painting a layer of blue, putting yellow
underneath, then orange, and finally a layer of purple until you reach the middle of the
canvas. It's important to clean the brush in water after applying each color.

Step 2:
Once you place these colors, you need to
blend them using a wet paintbrush. To blend
the colors, move the wet paintbrush from side
to side where the colors meet.
Step 3:
For the final details in the sky, we will use the purple paint and draw small lines to
resemble clouds.

Step 4:
Now that we've finished
with the sky, we'll use a
light blue from the center of the canvas to the bottom to paint
the ocean. Afterward, use black paint and create random black
lines over the blue to make them look like waves on the ocean.
Then, with the gray color you’ll do the same to add more detail to the ocean.

Step 5:
The final step is to draw the sun.

To draw the sun, mix white and yellow and draw

a small circle with that color in the center of the
canvas.

Once you do this, you’ll have finished your

canvas!
