Dayananda Sagar University was established through an Act /e., Dayananda Sagar university Act 2012, which was notified in the State gazette during February 2015. It came into existence from the year 2015-16. Government of Karnataka has permitted the University to start many academic programmes at different levels, from under graduate to doctoral programmes in the University vide it's notification dated 16.05.2014. Itadmitted students to various programmes , permitted by the Government, from the year 2015-16 at its temporary campuses Shavige Mollewsara Hills , Kumoroswomy Tayout , Bangalore - 560078 and Innovation Campus , Kudlu Gate, Hosur Road, Bangalore - 560068. 2. Keeping the cause of student fraternity in focus by not causing any distocation in thelr Geademic programmes, University had requested the Government, for permission fo otter t) Non engineering programmes ot existing Campus -1 - Shavige Mollewsora His, Kumaraswamy Layout , Bangalore - 560078 andi Engineering programmes at existing Gampus-3 , Innovation Campus , Kudlu Gate, Hosur Road, Bangalore = 560068 temporarily, til the main ond designated campus at Devarakaggolahal Harohall Hobal, Ramanagar District - 562 112 , gets ready for occupation. As per sections 4(3) and 6 of Doyananda Sagar University Act 2012 and Section 7 of Government Karnataka Notification No. ED 95 URC 2014, dated 16.05.2014, Dayananda Sagar University, hod requested for establishment of Additional Campus at, Innovation Campus, Kudlu Gate, Hosur Road, Bangalore ~ 560 068 and the same was permitted by the Government vide it's notification dated 16.03.2021. Accordingly, programs that are offered at Temporary Campus, 16 at Shavige Mallewsora Hills, Kumaraswamy Layout, Bangalore ~ 560078 , has to be shifted to the Designated or Adcitional Campus of the University. 6, In order to comply the directions of the Government of Karnataka, the movement of university activities, that has been planned is as indicated below and will be effective from the academic year 2024-25: CO) The Third Year BSc, BBA and BCom programs of Academic year 2024- 25, shall be offered at Kudlu Gate Campus. (i) The College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, which is offering BPharma , MPharmne ond Pharm D programs , shall start its complete operations at Main Campus ie Harohalli Campus from the Academic Year 2024-25. (i) The Fourth Year B.Tech Program of academic year 2024-25, shall be offered at Main Campus i.e Harohalli Campus. liv) The complete administrative activities, including the Admission Section vt university shall cease its activities at 6" Floor, Dental Block, Kumaraswamy Layout and shall get relocated to Main Campus Le Harohalli Campus, from the academic year 2024-25. 7. With the planned movernent of university activities from Temporary Campus, ie Shavige Mallewsara Hills, Kumaraswamy Layout, Bangalore — 560078, the Schools of university shall function ot various locations from the Academic Year 2024-25 as detailed below: () School of Engineering, Medical School, School of Health Sciences, comprising of Collage of Nursing Sciences, College of Physiotneroby. Gollege of Pharmaceutical Sciences and College of Allied Health Sciences shall carry out their activities at Main Campus ie Harohall Campus "(i) School of Basic & Applied Sciences, School of Commerce & Management Studies, School of Arts & Humanities, School of Low, Computer Applications Department and School of Design & Digital transmedia shall carry out their activities at Additional Campus ie Kudiu Gate Campus. The respective Deans, Principals and related university officials are requested to convey the planned movement, as mentioned above to all Stake Holders including Students and Parents. The detailed planning, along with the Time Schedules of movement shall be communicated in due course of time.
